yes, this is the house nightmare on elm street was filmed. my family lives on that same street and its not creepy at all. also that house was never demolished, it is currently (2011) a ferternity house so this was never demolished, i saw it myself

@FatGuyWithAKatana Corruption is involved. Some wealthy tightwad that's politically important wanted that lot but was too cheap to buy it and pay for the demo them self.
The place was tax delinquent but the City kept it a secret so they could sneak this demo in and hand the lot over to some a-hole butt-buddy.
National Media stayed away because Wes Craven said he would sue if mentioned. What Wes Craven's problem is nobody knows. Perhaps Alzheimer setting in, lol?
