Seen one of these in person. Kick ass trucks man, I don't care what anyone says these things are so awesome. Loved them since my uncle got me a model of one when I was 3. Very nice truck, I hope you still have it.
I've got a '79 dodge Warlock, and I need to replace my EGR Valve, my parts store has several and we can't tell the difference. Any ideas on where to buy the correct one? Any help, please.
Awesome truck, I hope to have mine finished soon.
Beautiful Truck. Right at the end of the video when the music ends you should add a nice Engine rev from that 360!!! I bet she sounds as good as she looks
I know of the warlock, its a very nice truck, it has the gold pinstriping all over and either came with 4wd or 2wd, its like a LRE except with 4wd and the option of getting a bigger engine, I still would like to get a green 78 Warlock and rebuild it. But my current truck calls for the work before anything else. It'll be a site to see it finally done, not very often you see someone in highschool with a truck like that.
No, the warlock did not have 440s in them. the warlocks were black, without stacks and had wood trim. not as exciting as the lil reds. I know, I used to build them.
the 1979 dodge models have the round headlights not the square headlights.the front clip is of a 80's model dodge and the cab is a 90's model cab but the dash is from 79.the bed is not from 79..i own a 1979 dodge and i know the things from the 79 dodges and your is just a mixture.go find a 1979 dodge and you will see the difference
The most noticeable changes on the 1979 editions was the new flat hood and dual square headlights replacing the round versions on 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck's and the 1979's rode on LR60x15 raised white letter tires on 8-inch chrome wheels on all 4 corners.
In late 78-early 79 there was an engineering change to the front end which retained the round headlights but moved the marker lights down by the bumper. The majority of '79s had the square headlights. I had a '79 and a couple of friends had 78S and late 78's. So there we're three variations of the real Lil Red Express. The latter 79s also had a different steering wheel.
Beautiful Truck! Great to see on in that condition!

Very nice! I used to see one of these around town back in the 80's and 90's. I always thought it was cool but never knew it is a fairly rare model.

Splendid choice of vehicle !! bad choice of music ! Mopars don't need additional music, just put the engine on .

There were also experimental Black ones fitted with 440s called Midnight express. They were displayed back in the eighties at Detroits Autorama

The 440 version that dodge built in 1979 was call a Warlock. Dad owned a Dodge dealership and we sold alot of these trucks. I'm glad to have one now.

Man, let the engine play his music... Beside that it's one of the coolest trucks and in general US Cars - I love it, especially the 1978 model. :)
