  • @SpooksHill quickest thing on the road in 1979 even out ran a mustang.

  • Seen one of these in person. Kick ass trucks man, I don't care what anyone says these things are so awesome. Loved them since my uncle got me a model of one when I was 3. Very nice truck, I hope you still have it.

  • diamond in the rough

  • Very nice! I used to see one of these around town back in the 80's and 90's. I always thought it was cool but never knew it is a fairly rare model.

  • Splendid choice of vehicle !! bad choice of music ! Mopars don't need additional music, just put the engine on .

  • Talk about great shape!

I love these beasts! Can take a 79 Corvette in the 1/4 mile! :D

  • LOVE THE QUAD HEADLIGHTS LOOKS TUFF

  • my brother-in-law has one he stripped down and painted silver pretty sweet - the stacks the original is tits too man great truck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • EGR can usually be cleaned save the money takes 5 min or so

  • I've got a '79 dodge Warlock, and I need to replace my EGR Valve, my parts store has several and we can't tell the difference. Any ideas on where to buy the correct one? Any help, please.

Awesome truck, I hope to have mine finished soon.

  • that truck is just amazing

  • Two chamber Flowmasters rock on this truck.

  • Amazing.

  • The 440 version that dodge built in 1979 was call a Warlock. Dad owned a Dodge dealership and we sold alot of these trucks. I'm glad to have one now.

  • No, the warlock did not have 440s in them. the warlocks were black, without stacks and had wood trim. not as exciting as the lil reds. I know, I used to build them.

  • @abashal weren't the warlocks the 4 wheel drive version? Someone told me they were

  • Beautiful Truck. Right at the end of the video when the music ends you should add a nice Engine rev from that 360!!! I bet she sounds as good as she looks

  • love the little red trucks. love dodge trucks period, i have a 79 RC.

  • What would make my 1977 D100 start and run fine then after it sits for awile it has no spark?

Voltage regulator or the ceramic fuse???

  • There were also experimental Black ones fitted with 440s called Midnight express. They were displayed back in the eighties at Detroits Autorama

  • beautiful truck man

  • nice we have two 79 lil red expresses and im making a 78 mod clone but making it a lil Black express with a 440 magnum out of a 69 gtx

  • i like the weather channel music lol

  • why the elevator music ahhhh

  • Mint truck! I got a 79 I'm workin on now... hopefully it looks like that someday. Funny how the speedo only goes to 85.

  • I own a 1978 Lil red express in rough condition.

  • the 1979 dodge models have the round headlights not the square headlights.the front clip is of a 80's model dodge and the cab is a 90's model cab but the dash is from 79.the bed is not from 79..i own a 1979 dodge and i know the things from the 79 dodges and your is just a mixture.go find a 1979 dodge and you will see the difference

  • 79 Lil' Red Truck

The most noticeable changes on the 1979 editions was the new flat hood and dual square headlights replacing the round versions on 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express Truck's and the 1979's rode on LR60x15 raised white letter tires on 8-inch chrome wheels on all 4 corners.

  • In late 78-early 79 there was an engineering change to the front end which retained the round headlights but moved the marker lights down by the bumper. The majority of '79s had the square headlights. I had a '79 and a couple of friends had 78S and late 78's. So there we're three variations of the real Lil Red Express. The latter 79s also had a different steering wheel.

  • i have a 79 lil red too,

    and yours is amazing, beautiful!

  • Beautiful!
