I bought this pen yesterday but I can't call it perfect...When I wrote things at school, the quality of the notes taken by PersA was poor: letters missing etc.
Actually I think it says all the LATEST Windows Versions. Which doesn't have to include XP, but there is part of the movie where you can see XP in the background... so I suppose it works for XP
Thank you for your message, although i have another question, do you know the battery life ? In med school the classes are very long, and also there is a lot to write, i was thinking about buying the pulse pen for it's recording capability, but it relies on dotted paper, and summing it all up, the costs, the paper, the ink, the installing cd's, it's a bit too much.
This is answer from my brother who works for the Co that imports them:
"It would depend on the amount of use so I guess it would be on a number of running hours. I dont think the unit would use a lot of power to transmit the information back to the receiver. The receiver it self has a lithium battery built in to the unit and the pen had a battery that is replaceable. No one here has tested the life of the unit to see just how long the unit will run from full to flat on one charge."
I have not used it for longer hours but i believe it would last longer than an mp3 player with built in batteries. Because it consumes lesser power.
Although the pen somehow consumes the replaceable batteries even if you are not using it. I first starting using it after an year and it's batteries were dead. So keep them outside the pen if you dont use the pen that frequently.
I have also used digital drawing pads but i recomment the inote digital pen.
My (high school) daughter got one of these from my brother for Christmas - she's able to do exactly as the video shows - she takes notes in class them comes home and downloads the information onto her computer. Now the OTHER daughter needs one!
