  • hey rick,

do you think these stands can REALLY hold the qsc hpr152s? i know that they are rated to do so, but you know how that could be sometimes. I'm talking realistically.

i know a guy that wants $150 for a pair of used ones, and I need something to elevate my hprs with for my bigger functions that the k8 can't handle.

  • Hey Bobby,

You know me, I'd love to just reply to this question in writing. But instead, you've motivated me to shoot another video today. Stay tuned! In the meantime, go back and watch this video again around the :30 second mark. Later today, I will literally SHOW you some things that should be helpful!

  • hahhaha. gotcha! will do bro.

  • @BOBBYBLENDZ Just answered your question with my latest video filmed today!

  • Nice stands!

  • Thanks! And the thing is, as an Ultimate user for years, I never knew these stand existed up until about a year ago. They run about $40 more per stand. So worth it!!

  • have you upgraded your SRMs Rik?

  • Still have the SRM's, still have the SA1521's, but funny you would ask because I have moved into QSC now. You'll be seeing more videos featuring QSC and why I have moved that direction. Thanks for watchin'...

  • Ha ... and just when the Mackie HD Series has been released.

I DJ at home, but if I was buying a PA System, I think it would probably be a toss up between the RCF 7 Series, and the Mackie HDs.

But the QSC K Series look good, a few DJs reckon the K Sub doesn't give enough kick (being a 12")

  • The KSub by itself works great for smaller venues. I own two of them and when you put them together I think they are rock solid for up to about 200 people. After that it's just asking too much. I'll be shooting a video on specific KSub applications that I think will get people really thinking more about them. Thanks!
