One request after watching quite a few of your videos Mark, is I feel, you need to tell people how FAR you are hitting. If you are comparing 2 drivers, and one is hitting 30metres further than the other, you should mention this.
Sure distance is less important than feel and accuracy, but it is still an important factor in reviews.
910 by a mile. I actually prefer the smaller head of the d3. I'm only an 8 handicap but i feel like i can reproduce my swing easier with the smaller head. Plus the whole white club thing needs to stop.
I have an R11 now, I am thinking about getting the D2 or D3 because I have titleist irons and I think I just want uniform, However I am hitting excellently with the R11 though so I am a bit reluctant to switch. Any thoughts?
@Rhamman4u I know what you are saying about uniform clubs, but you say you hit the r11 excellently. Keep it in play off the tee and then let your titleists do the talking!
Titleist all the way i had the r11 and i never took it seriously i just thought of it as a toy driver not a real driver and the glare nobody gave a shit before why give a shit now
I Have a R11 , I Find its hard to hit , and the face feels like its hard as hell , im looking to get a new driver , Should i go for a RBZ , 910 D2 , Or Ping G20??? I hit around 210 , whats the best driver for distance and not alot of adjustment ,
@eightlines14 if distance is what you are looking for the rbz is the way to go. it isn't as easy to shape as the g20 but it does go a good amount of distance further. as for the d2 i think it is just a little bit behind in distance from the g20 but it is very easy to hit. overall i like the rbz the best but i do have a slight taylormade bias when it comes to woods and drivers.
I play a 910 d3 and love it. My friend has a r11 that i hit on the range pretty frequently and to me it feels too mushy...almost feels too soft. The 910 feels so much better coming off the face to me. Plus its so much easier to change the face angle/loft/lie on the 910. I chuckle when i see people fumbling around with all the r11 settings.
@rartis95 I have been using the 910 D2 for just about a year now and have been very happy with it. I hit my friends r11 and I thought it felt mushy and had a soft feeling to it . To me it felt like the Titelist had a hotter face.
play off 18 handicap, and had the taylormade R9 supertri, but i was hitting it so high it was losing me a lot of distance, tried out several new drivers, and for me it came down to the callaway razr or the R11, and it was only brand loyalty that chose taylormade, i've always had taylormade drivers because they've always performed for me, just need to take it down the range a few times and set it up to my liking, and hopefully the scores will come down.
I've had 910 D2 & D3 and find the D2 much better. Shafts used: whiteboard, tp6hd, px and ad-di7x. I'm a +3 and find the D2 to be more forgiving, easier to work and farther (by less than 5 yards). As far as the R11, I have the 5 wood and hit that about 250-260. One of the best 5 woods I have ever hit as far as a high, soft trajectory, extremely easy to work and feel the clubhead. I am in the process of trading my D2 for an R11 driver to test it out but I hear it's really, really solid.
Hey mark just got my D3 in a 8.5 stiff and I am loving every minute of it I am in the high handicap range but when I was getting fitted for the D2 the guy gave me the D3 to hit and it preformed way better I am hitting the ball 20 yards further than my old driver. Got the R.I.P shaft on it and it is the greatest shaft I have ever used !!!
@Themasteratgolf the R11 spins too much for a good player without putting the tp shaft in it. It also feels like shit compared to the Titleist 910 and the Ping I15
@Themasteratgolf or if you want a driver that spins like a mofo, i hit both into a launch monitor with the screen and all, and i have to admit all of tailor-mades clubs are longer than titleist, by 10-15 yards, and tend to be slightly more forgiving, but titleist spins less and is more accurate
I play the R11 right now with a Fubuki Alpha 70S aftermarket shaft and I love it but I am seriously considering changing to the D3 but I am not sure what shaft would be comparable.
I'm playing off a 13 handicap and I am 16. Getting custom fitted for the titliest 910 d2 this Saturday with my courses pro. Really excited to see what specs I get and can't wait to have I't I'n the bag for the remainder of the year and so on! Also Thanks mark so much
I have the Titleist 910 D2 with 'ilima 61 Stiff shaft. I did go through a very quick fitting & I'm not so sure this is the right shaft for me. I have a smooth tempo, swing speed of about 105mph, ball speed in the 140-ish range. What I'm experiencing is that the 910 tends to go left on me & much more left than my old 905T with a Grafalloy Blue shaft. What are the usually best shafts for folks like me with this driver? My local shop isn't very good at helping me get this drive just right
@04renostar go to the titleist website. click on clubs, drivers, D3. scroll down and on the right side there are PDF's of custom options. Check out Titleist Club Custom Options. There is a chart comparing all shafts offered (launch and spin). Definately should pick a shaft on the lower left of that chart. Hopefully that helps.
@04renostar You need to experiment with different shafts, depending on what ball flight you want is the way you should go...your swing path determines more than anything a club could do...Its not the arrow its teh Indian....rings true on teh golf courese...any good player can feel what the club can do and use it for what it CAN do not what you want to change it to...
yes the r11 is white, and yes, it doesnt glare, but it reflects more light than an r11 would, and in very sunny days the reflection of the r11 is much more disturbing thatn the glare of any other ´´normal driver´´. If hte idea is to get a low glare low reflecting driver just make a mate black head, no glare, no reflection... White is pure marketing.

thanks for the review, i was thinking about getting the 910 but i was also thinking about the r11, but i was leaning towards the 910 and after watching this review i have made a decision and its the 910 :D
i want to play the titleist 910 driver at christmas , will it come down in pricce ? and also is it worth it ? Will it benefit my game and will i gain any yards with it ? Atm i have a cobra old driver crappy shaft and not fitted to me at all ?
There's never been a no glare driver head so no one really thought about it. If you do use a no glare driver and then try to play a round with a shiny black head the sun will distract you a lot.
i recently bought the 910 D3 8.5 and i love it!gained 25 yards immediatly and feels like butter, also great for shaping shots and flys great into the wind due to the low ammount of spin.
I have a 910 D3 with an Ahina shaft. As far as the settings, I am still experimenting. What have you found to work and what variables take place when deciding this? I appreciate all of your videos Thanks!!
2 of the absolute best drivers available here. Personally I'd take the R11 because I'm a Taylor made guy. I currently use the R7 Irons, Rescue TP and R7 460 driver which has been fantastic especially since I had the Aldila NVS replaced with the VS Proto a couple of years ago. One thing is for certain... I'd never buy Callaway or Ping!
i tried both but felt more comfortable with the titleist.in the end confidence was a big factor which helped in my shot shaping.both great clubs but the titleist is just a bit more reliable for me

@4golfonline mate, i was looking on your online store for some taylormade burner 09 and possibly the r11 driver but it says "no products at the moment" any possibility you will be getting any in?
I just bought the 910d2 9.5 today! I usually played a fade with my 909, but I would like to hit is more straight, maybe even some draw. What setting should I have it in you think Mark?
Taylormade has always been somewhat of a tacky, materialistic-ish company for me. Other than their rac irons and v steel 3 wood I don't like their products.
Titleist makes classic, no bullshit products which imo are some of the best out there.
@Wsj1994 Thank you! i have been waiting for someone to say that. Taylormade is so gay with their white heads and commercials. titleist is based on performance. not some some whit paint and a red faceplate.
@Wsj1994 I think all the golf companies jazz up their products personally. There are really only subtle differences between different brand products I think. All clubs are designed to work as you'd expect & are really only a matter of preference for the golfer.
Golf's a tough game as we all know, & companies really suck amateurs into thinking their new club will knock shots off their handicap. Someone with a good swing can hit any club IMO, but some clubs may suit their swing better.
I just hit both tonight, they both felt great and spun the same but the D3 Launch way to high and lost a lot of distance, so i went with an r11 tp with a 70g shaft
I really love my r11, ive got the 9 degrees with a lower face and open clubface so it plays about 7.5 ish, but stock shaft is a bit soft soo, i got x in it.
I use 910 D3 8.5 with D1 setting i'm really balloon the ball so easy even the 8.5 is not enough so i change it to be .75 degrees less than 8.5 so it's 7.75 degrees loft.
An awesome driver even though i getting used to it much longer than any driver
but it's worth the trajectory is penetrate and the spin is almost nothing.
I hit my longest drive out of this 910!
R11 is okay it's good but feels so bad i will balloon it so easy.
i had a 910 D2 but it came loose every now and then so i now use a callaway octane black tour, i was wondering can you do a comparison between octane black tour and the R11 due to i want to see if i went for the right choice, thank you
Titleist 910 performs well and it's more fittable, the r11 just looks sick. Tough choice but I'm happy with the 910. Give both a try, can't really go wrong with either
I'm a 20 handcapper and use 10.5 degree Cobra ZL driver (nice club) with a R flex shaft and my distance is out at 210-230 metres. I'm getting to a point where I can draw the ball and distance has improved likewise. I'm considering moving to a top end driver, either Titleist or Taylormade. In your video you suggest both the D2/3 and R11 are for players? From what I have described, would moving to either of these clubs be the way to go?
Great video, did you have the R11 and 910 customized to your swing, because I think Taylormade was trying to get less spin through the adjustability, increasing the distance.
Does the fit systems on both drivers restrict the number of different shafts you can use? ie. does the end of the shaft need an attachment to fit into the head? Would be nice if both brands used the same fit system that way you could interchange the shafts.
i want to get the d2 but im not sure whether to go with the aldila rip or the project x 7c3 or 7d3, could you do a video comparing all of the titleist shaft options?
One request after watching quite a few of your videos Mark, is I feel, you need to tell people how FAR you are hitting. If you are comparing 2 drivers, and one is hitting 30metres further than the other, you should mention this.

@Wsj1994 there just too precise for you amateurs

@Wsj1994 Thank you! i have been waiting for someone to say that. Taylormade is so gay with their white heads and commercials. titleist is based on performance. not some some whit paint and a red faceplate.

@Wsj1994 I think all the golf companies jazz up their products personally. There are really only subtle differences between different brand products I think. All clubs are designed to work as you'd expect & are really only a matter of preference for the golfer.
Golf's a tough game as we all know, & companies really suck amateurs into thinking their new club will knock shots off their handicap. Someone with a good swing can hit any club IMO, but some clubs may suit their swing better.

legoandstuff100 9 months ago
I just hit both tonight, they both felt great and spun the same but the D3 Launch way to high and lost a lot of distance, so i went with an r11 tp with a 70g shaft
lilmazza121 9 months ago
I really love my r11, ive got the 9 degrees with a lower face and open clubface so it plays about 7.5 ish, but stock shaft is a bit soft soo, i got x in it.
danehibberd1 9 months ago
I have the 910 D2 10.5 loft with a regular shaft and I love it. The R11 just looked tacky too me like they were trying too hard to be modern.
tissue054 9 months ago
i didn't like the r11 driver, i just didn't get the same distance as the 910
jmey107 10 months ago
I use 910 D3 8.5 with D1 setting i'm really balloon the ball so easy even the 8.5 is not enough so i change it to be .75 degrees less than 8.5 so it's 7.75 degrees loft.
An awesome driver even though i getting used to it much longer than any driver
but it's worth the trajectory is penetrate and the spin is almost nothing.
I hit my longest drive out of this 910!
R11 is okay it's good but feels so bad i will balloon it so easy.
brainysnaeha 10 months ago
which one is easier to hit? which gives you a longer distance? what is the difference in trajectory??
posadajuandi 10 months ago
i had a 910 D2 but it came loose every now and then so i now use a callaway octane black tour, i was wondering can you do a comparison between octane black tour and the R11 due to i want to see if i went for the right choice, thank you
trialrus4 10 months ago
Titleist 910 performs well and it's more fittable, the r11 just looks sick. Tough choice but I'm happy with the 910. Give both a try, can't really go wrong with either
gibsonlespaul5709 10 months ago
wat the fuck?

titleist 910 for sure
laxsb228 10 months ago
I'm a 20 handcapper and use 10.5 degree Cobra ZL driver (nice club) with a R flex shaft and my distance is out at 210-230 metres. I'm getting to a point where I can draw the ball and distance has improved likewise. I'm considering moving to a top end driver, either Titleist or Taylormade. In your video you suggest both the D2/3 and R11 are for players? From what I have described, would moving to either of these clubs be the way to go?
garrynolan1 10 months ago
R11 all the way.
j2tran77 11 months ago
r11 is much more attractive
chakenfangersaregood 11 months ago

@Slyrtan Yeh it is much better
4golfonline 11 months ago
Great video, did you have the R11 and 910 customized to your swing, because I think Taylormade was trying to get less spin through the adjustability, increasing the distance.

Loving the quality and camera angles! Keep em coming!
As far as the 2 drivers, I've hit both and I personally prefer the 910.
dragthirty5 11 months ago
Incredible picture quality. I like how you incorporate different camera angles.
eddier0y 11 months ago
Does the fit systems on both drivers restrict the number of different shafts you can use? ie. does the end of the shaft need an attachment to fit into the head? Would be nice if both brands used the same fit system that way you could interchange the shafts.
itubeutude 11 months ago
@itubeutude Lots of shaft option with both clubs.
4golfonline 11 months ago
@itubeutude It does but with the 910s there are like 8 different shafts to choose from and the r11 only has 1 or two
thatigerwoods 9 months ago
Brilliant quality Mark!
plmko271 11 months ago
The r11 would have spun more because it a higher loft also right??
mcgroogtube 11 months ago
i want to get the d2 but im not sure whether to go with the aldila rip or the project x 7c3 or 7d3, could you do a video comparing all of the titleist shaft options?
nasher1921 11 months ago
The new camera is fantastic
JimboBoomdocks 11 months ago
