His articulation is impeccable. You understand every word. And what words! He parodies the style. He parodies the accents. He parodies the movements. He parodies the musical rythyms and phrasing. He parodies Cole Porter AND himself. And he does it all with grace and elan, making it all seem so effortless. A remarkable personage of the 20th century. Here's to you, Sir Coward! You (and performers like you) are sorely missed in this boring 21st century.

Incidentally, the chap's name is Coward, not Cowar [this typo makes your video impossible to find with Coward as a key-word] ;-), and, more important, the live broadcast took place on 22 October 1955, not 1957...

@hocbes, i don't know kitschbitch's reasons for mistaking, but the mistakes might be on purpose.
a few days ago some excellent vids from "together with music" (plus the most correct info, title, year ) were deleted from you tube.
copyright reasons, i suppose.

@hocbes I had no trouble at all finding it, and in fact it's the only clip from those shows that I can find. Perhaps the others have all been pulled at the request of the copyright holder...
