@0HippyHunter0 It's called contrast. His voice is low and a bit gravelly, while hers is higher and clear. Plus, her lyrics help us see his side: she's manipulative and only out for what she can get. (She denies this most of the song, but admits it at the end.) Another option is that by using a guest artist, Cold is broadening their audience. Fans of Swan will listen to this one to and discover other Cold songs and vice versa. Win-win for everyone.

All of that aside, I like her voice.

You know, Ive listened to Cold since I was little. And to be dead honest, I am glad they didnt make it big like other bands. I like the fact that they are an acquired taste in some levels, at least to me. Its unique and they give you the opportunity to love a band without having to be in a bandwagon. For that they are the representation of my every mood of my everyday. Whether I am pissed or happy. Cold has a nice ass song for it.
