  • Absolutely awesome! My 7 yo doughter just love watching you. She is a figure skater just like you, and I wish for her to skate like You, because I can see passion in Your eyes, It is a plesure watching You! We wish You all the best.

  • @kaniagt From Gia's Mom,

Thanks so much for all of you support. I can't wait to show this to Gia!

  • wow you are sooo graceful! i'm working on a program right now, and i have to be graceful in it. im not really a graceful person, so its quite difficult for me. can you give me some advice on how to look a bit more graceful on the ice? (:

  • @piggypizza123 This is from Gia's mom- Gia does not take ballet due to time constraints with school, but she watches other, more advanced skaters and emulates their movements.

  • Hi gia, your program was amazing! i loved the double axel, well done! i was wondering if you'd be able to give me some advice, I am entering a competition soon and i am really stuck looking for music. The programme has to be 3 minutes long and i cant find any music at all! Is there any websites that i could look up? it would be amazing if you had any music advice for me :) i think the music for this programme was super btw!

  • @Bluxphoes Thanks so much for all of your kind words. I look all over youtube for music inspiration. It can take weeks and weeks. If all else fails, do something Spanish- that's my motto.

  • You are great does ai skate at your rink of she does is she still skating

  • @fartlumpsjr Yes. Ai and I skated together last Thursday morning at 5:40am at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood. She is really, really good and really, really nice.

  • very graceful and amazing i would love to meet you someday in olympics

  • how meny years you have in this video????

  • @ginny2002 I had just turned 10 years old less than a week before.

  • i think that you'll be in the olympics one day !

  • That was beautiful! Gave me goosebumps :)

  • Who sings this? Ur AMAZING by the way

  • @thetootyfruity7 Thank you so much for saying that . This song was sung by Alexandra Burke from X Factor.

  • @Kokotakis wow...thank you so much for responding, that means so much to me! you are such an inspiration and you keep me working hard at my skating. i'm always like "if i keep practicing, i'll be as good as gia!" :)

  • @thetootyfruity7 Wow. That is really nice to say. I am lucky to skate with Mirai Nagasu, Evan Lysecek, Caroline Zhang- I was on the ice with them yesterday in Artesia. I was watching Evan and thinking that if I keep working really, really hard, maybe one day I will be as good as him. Vera Wang was with him at the rink fitting his new costume. It was a really great day and it was easy to work for 4 hours with those skaters for motivation. Up at 4:30am, so I am off to bed.nite. :)

  • You should post practice videos :)

  • @thetootyfruity7 My mom said she would....still waiting.....but, trust me, when I do something really, really amazing, she will post it. Hahaha.

  • everything about this was just beautiful, i'm not even joking when i say that it sent shivers down my spine :) well done Gia :)

  • @iamfigureskater14 Wow. That is really nice to hear. Thank you so much.

  • @Kokotakis no problem :)

  • hi gia your amazing at skating are all your double jumps clean now?? :)

  • @ezra47100 Yes, except double axel

  • @Kokotakis your double axel looked AMAZING!! i have just landed my triple lutz yay but it is cheated :(

  • Spectacular!

  • Your gonna go so far in this sport. So So far.

  • double axel cheated a lott nice attempt tho

  • Hey Gia, are you going to be skating in the Spring Recital this year?

  • @FlyingCamelSpinner I will do my short in the spring recital

  • just straight up gorgeous

  • you did great as always!!!! im struggling to do the loop i cant land the jump and been trying for months do you have any tips for me to help me master the jump please

  • what kind of clothes do you practice in? btw awesome 2A!!! (:

  • @xfigureskating Thanks for saying that about my 2A. It was a bit off today, but I hope it will be back tomorrow. I practice in pants mostly because it is easier to slide my pads into pants when I am working on jumps. The pads make skirts and shorts kind of fall down or feel like they are falling down and I can't even get them on with a dress. I also like to wear tank tops under my jackets for when I start to sweat.

  • Was the axel she did at 1:28 a double axel? That was awesome!!!!

  • @preyasikr It was my first one in a performance! Thanks so much.

  • You are such a pleasure to watch. I look forward to seeing your 2012 routines. ;)

  • Hi Gia! i was just wondering, about how many competitions do you do per year?(:

  • @xfigureskating Well, I really like to compete, so I usually do between 10 and 14 each year, but now that I am moving up to Intermediate with both short and long programs, I won't be able to compete as much. Also, I am trying to get double axel and my first 2 triples, so my programs won't be ready until I get those jumps- I will miss the first few competitions during the early part of the season.

  • What type of skates do you have Gia? :)

  • @SkaterGirlEm123 I wear SP Teri Zero Gravity Boots with Paramount blades.

  • Where is a good place to get custom made dresses?

  • @trishy123ify There are many great designers. I use Jan Longmire, but she will only design for certain levels. My friend googled competition dresses and found a great designer that was reasonably priced.

  • You are so good! You're dresses are so pretty? Are they custom made? I need a dress for a Pocahontas program and im looking for a good place to get dresses.

  • @trishy123ify This dress was a $10 bargain from a discount store called Danny's Warehouse. My mom glued tons of crystals on it. If I were you, I would go to a costume shop and get a Pocohontas costume and have it made into a dress. I did that with a Fiona costume when I skated to music from Shrek.

  • Are your blades gold or do they just look like that?

  • @SkaterGirl0726 Nope, they are gold. I love the gold.

  • @Kokotakis Oh! Thats so cool! Where do you get your dresses?

  • @SkaterGirl0726 This was a $10 off the rack dress from a discount store called Danny's Warehouse. My mom glued about 1000 crystals on it.

  • @Kokotakis Wow!! Your so good! I'm just learning my double salchow -.-" Your dress is really pretty! $10 only? It's sure more like $200, May I buy it from you? (Joking)

  • any tips for a double toe loop or flying camel?

  • @awkwardcherry My double toe was so bad in Juvenile, that we took it out of the program and I have been working on it so that I can move up to triple toe. The key to the double toe is first, don't tap and turn forward at the same time or you will have a toe axel. The judges really hate toe axels. You get a major downgrade and -3 GOE's even if the jump is landed nicely. So, keep your left arm in front of your body and don't turn forward. I don't do a flying camel right now- I am doing death drop

  • I was watching a video of Gia from 2010, and then i realised she uploaded a this one, and all i was thinking is that the improvement she's made since 2010, it's just massive. As for the double axel, ohh well she knows it herself it's pretty cheated but having the courage to use it in a program, mean she will land it cleanly in no time, even in competitions.

  • @MichalisRbw Hey, thanks so much. I can do it 1/8 turn cheated now and my triple sow is 1/4. I have been working so hard because I will be intermediate this year. I plan to do 2 triples and my double axel in my long, but none of them are totally clean yet. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

  • wow! and after she landed her double axel she had the BIGGEST smile on her face :D

  • can you please do a "What's in my Zuca bag?" video?? It would be great to see what supplies a champion takes to skating!! thanks xoxo.. love, one of your biggest fans! <3 :)

  • @JemWykeSmith OK. I will, but it will be soooooooo boring. I haven't cleaned out my Zuca in about a year. There might be stuff growing in the pockets. Hahaha.

  • @Kokotakis Cool! :)

  • are you half greek?I am asking beacause of your last name.Btw your the best skater :) well done I wish you the best :D

  • are you greek or half greek,i'm asking beacause of your last name :) btw she is amazing , well done!

  • @purplemist1997 I am 1/2 Greek.

  • This is probably my favourite video which you've uploaded! I had my first ice skating lesson yesterday and it was so much fun :) how often do you skate and do you keep all of your skating dresses? :D xxx

  • @prudeypiexx Thanks very much. I skate about 20 hours a week- 6 days a week. I usually get Saturday off.. My mom loaned my green dress from Hook out to a friend, but other than that, I still have all of them.

  • Was your hand bleading?

  • @CandyLove799 Not in this video. It was bleeding in the Regional video

  • @Kokotakis O sorry, I would have sworn I posted that comment in the Regional video

You are great, you have alot going for you :)

  • amazing!

  • Hi gia can you tell me if a double salcoul is 1 and a half rotations of 2? x

  • @xxSuperBeautyNerdxx Well, it is called a double but it is really closer to 1 3/4 rotations. The single axel is 1 1/2 rotations.

  • Your welcome :) oh and Ontario, Canada... Thanks for the tips :)

  • @SkaterGirlEm123 Cool! My coach, Natalie Shaby is from Canada.

  • Hi :)

You are a really talented and amazing skater! Age doesn't matter, you would stand out in any crowd. Have you been considering the Olympics in a few years (8 to be precise)?

  • @baxter54132 That is my goal! I want to go to the Olympics

  • Good job Gia your axel is sooo close! Just 1/4 to go!

  • @sk8rluv247 I know! It is even closer now! Triple sow is coming, too!

  • Oh cool! I can't wait to see the program and the dress :-D

  • @SkateBakeWriteDesign Not only do I get scared when I am first learning a new jump, I am scared the first time I warm it up each day, even after I get it for months! I just keep telling myself that the fear isn't going away, so do the jump anyway. Eventually, it does go away, but it takes a while. Just do it anyway. That is courage. Good luck.I know you can do it!

  • wow!! that's lovely!!!

  • you skate so beautifully! best of luck to you!

  • Great job Gia! <3 You are absolutley amazing...there are only like 2 people in my skating club that know how to do a double axel and only our senior star skaters know how to do an axel... Do you have any tips for learning the flip and loop jumps? Or how to rotate more times on spins? I live in a small town in Ontario and we only skate 3 nights a week for about an hour each night from September to March..... I wish I could skate as long as you get to.....You are really, really good!!! <3

  • @SkaterGirlEm123 First, where in Ontario or Ontario, CA? or Canada? Next, thanks for the nice words. My most important tip on jumps is to keep your head and your left arm in front of your body and don't let them move. I used to let them move to the left and that just won't work. For spins- center before getting into an varied position.

  • heyy i was wondering how do u glue ur stones?? bc i really want to learn do u have a machine or a special type of glue if u do then plz tell me wat glue or machine so i can order it also tell me where u get ur swarovski crystals?! :) thank u!

  • @figureskating26 My mom uses a special glue that you get where you buy the stones called E6000. She used to put a dab on a paper plate, then use a toothpick to put a tiny drop on the dress and then used a waxed toothpick - bought at the crystal store to put the stone on the glue. Now, instead of the toothpick, she takes the sharp pointy part out of an injection needle and fills it with the glue and deposits a drop of glue onto the dress that way.

  • @SkateBakeWriteDesign I am getting 2 new programs, though I will still wear the yellow dress. One is my short program and the other will be my long.

  • @Kokotakis are you wearing the yellow dress for both long and short? or are you getting a new dress for one of the programs?

  • @Figures8erA10 I am getting a new dress for my short.

  • Gia,you have probably been told this by millions of people but your such am inspiration to me and I would love to be able to skate like you one day, your so pretty and naturally talented,I hope you make the Olympics you really deserve it,I will be cheering you on!,love you Gia!

  • @CharlotteFigureskate Thank you very much. Just keep skating!

  • Favorited ;)

  • Hi Gia, sorry to bother you but what size stones does your mom gets?

  • @wluu1 20's mostly

  • Well, I thinkit is a good idea to come to Europe and take a few weeks training in Oberstdorf. We went to Oberstdorf last summer and had a nice time. The only disadvantage is that during ice training, the ice was overcrowded. My daughter skated in the group `Anfanger-Neulinge´ but for Gia she can skate in the group Novice-Juniors. These groups may contain less participants. If you need advice about hotels and appartments, let me know. We know Oberstdorf now and it is really a nice place to be.

  • @TheFigureskatingfan Thanks very much. I may take you up on that.

  • I'm so sorry about my comments, it's my laptop. anyway I meant to say you are so artistic and graceful every performance you do just amazes me. You are very talented, and I can definitely see you as a huge name someday in sport history or something, probably even Olympic bound :) I love to watch all of your performances as you are just amazing to watch! Good luck in further competitions, tests and shows :)

  • @DudeOfFood Thanks so much for the wonderful comments and all of your support.

  • Sorry I meant to finish typing that oops. You Re

  • Gia.

  • Gia, what a wonderful performance as usual! You are so artistic and graceful I just love to watch you skate. You are fantastic, Olympic bound :))

  • To put the stones on u use e600 glue with a toothpick michaels or joanna's sells it for less then 4 dollers :)

  • How often do you practice, just wondering? You've improved so much over the last few years! And you're 9 or 10 years old now? Future national champion! (:

  • @julianaqtpi I practice 3-4 hours 6 days a week

  • Hi Gia!!!!!! do you know where i can buy figure skating dresses online that are not to expensive? Thanks!! :)

  • @muzic140 Try ebay

  • Did you place? :)

  • @muzic140 It was a recital- just a show- not a competition. Though in my mind, I won! Hahahaha.

  • @Kokotakis Awesome!!! I think you won too!! :)

  • @Kokotakis that's a good way to think of it though, Gia hahaha! xxx.

  • Hi Gia I was just wondering where do you get the stones. And what kind of glue do you have to use.

  • @wluu1 I live about 30 minutes from downtown LA. My mom goes to a store downtown in the garment district called Bohemian Crystal. She buys them there and uses a special glue that they recommend. It REALLY stinks! Hahahaha. Bohemian Crystal is on a street called Maple. Maybe you can find them online.

  • Hi Gia do you have any advice for learning the axel??

  • @muzic140 jump outside your circle, kind of and kick straight through- not around. Get to the top of the height of the jump before you rotate and jump high.

  • Beautiful!

    Absolutely loved it (:

  • She really skated a very beautiful program. I have respect for her choreography. My daughter of 11 should learn a lot from her. So if she planned to visit the Netherlands once, you are welcome ;-)

  • @TheFigureskatingfan Wow. That is so nice of you. I would love to visit the Netherlands. I might get to go to Obersdorf, Germany this summer to train for a few weeks.

  • @TheFigureskatingfan Wow. That is so nice of you. I would love to visit the Netherlands. I might get to go to Obersdorf, Germany this summer to train for a few weeks.

  • Love it:)

  • Wow :'D

  • Beautiful choreography, good interpretation of the music. Amazing skating. I look forward to seeing next performances of Gia. Bravo!

  • @lidka2007 Thanks so much.

  • love!!!! <333

  • Gia is AMAZING, and you've probably be told this heaps of times before but you are so blessed to have a girl of that age to be skating like this. I have been skating for 5 years and cant even do an axel. I hope she makes it in to the worlds and olympics. she really deserves it!:) Carry on skating and good luck:)

  • @skaterwithattitude93 Thanks so much for the wonderful comments! I will keep working and hopefully, reach my goals.

  • Oh my gosh! Who designed this beautiful new white dress? It's very pretty.

  • @wluu1 My mom found this for $10 at a discount place and glued the stones on herself.

  • Awesome Axel!!!!!

  • Great job Gia!!!!!!

  • Gia you are the best you can land a double axel i can almost land a single any tips? x ♥

  • @xxSuperBeautyNerdxx kick straight thru with your leg and go up before you rotate.

  • @Kokotakis Okay I will try tomorrow. Thanks x

  • Wow! Great job Gia! I loved the double flip with the arm variation! Very pretty!...looks like the double Axel is coming along nicely too!! You'll get that extra rotation in no time!

  • I was really surprised she landed that double axel-- she was going into it kind of slowly. But it wasn't bad, just a bit cheated. Overall, I very much liked this program. She did a good job choreographing it :) Not to mention that the music is amazing.

  • @RubikCuber1 Thanks. I just started working on the double axel in November. I am doing it much faster and almost clean now.

  • How old was she at that time?

  • @CandyLove799 She just turned 10

  • She is so amazing <3 I cannot believe she choreographed this herself! So beautiful :)

  • Wonderful performance!

  • Very Beautiful:) Nice job Gia:)

  • U r very graceful!! I luv it. U r reallly amazing. I have never seen any skater as wonderful as u. U r defenetly going to be in the Olympics when u grow up.

  • waaw! This is absolutely AMAZING!! Really Gia, you skated very well!

I'm impressed, and the music is wonderful with your skating!

Keep skating like that, you're fab !

I add this video in my favourites :)

Please, what is exactly the version of this song ?

    Sarah xx

  • @69LadySarah I don't really know. My mom cut this music for someone to skate to last year and she was finished with it, so I found it on her computer and used it. If you search the song on Itunes, I bet you can find it.

  • @Kokotakis Ok, thank you.

You're an alazing girl on the ice Gia! congrats again!!

"Aim for the moon and if nothing else you'll land amongst the stars.!

  • WTG u r so amazing it is beautiful to see how much you have grown and improved in your art. You are so beautiful and and I cant wait to see you achieve more of your dreams and goals.

  • @tinkdisneygirl Wow. Thanks so much.

  • I never would have known that you choreographed that on your own- good job Gia! And good double axel try, nobody who wasn't a skater would have noticed that it wasn't entirely clean, but its good to see you confident with it anyways. (: can't wait to see it clean in competition!

  • @julianaqtpi I hope that it will be clean soon. It is closer now and getting better every day. Thank you for the wonderful and nice things that you said.

  • Beautiful skate, Gia. You did a wonderful job of choreographing this program, especially as you are only 10 years old.

  • You finally landed your double axel! Congrats!

  • she did so goood :)

  • i want to see her on world championship one day :)

  • Gia, I waiting for ages for this program and now its here im crying xxx

  • @xxSuperBeautyNerdxx Gia you are amazing please reply

  • @xxSuperBeautyNerdxx Thanks so much for the nice words. This program was really fun to put together.

  • @Kokotakis Okay your really good. When your older will you go into nationals?

  • @xxSuperBeautyNerdxx Thanks I hope to make it to Nationals as an Intermediate, then a Novice, then junior and finally, as a Senior Lady, where my dream is to be named to the World or Olympic team.

  • @Kokotakis You sure have big dreams well that's where I want to get to.

  • Omg here double axel I spoof beautiful!!!! She has come so far and I love how she skates I also love her dress whered u get it? :) I love u soo much as a skater!!!

  • @figureskating26 My mom bought this dress for $10 at a discount skating and dance place and then glued tons of stones on it!

  • @Kokotakis OMG THATS AWESOME!!! Wat does ur mom use to glue the stones? bc i really want to learn but dont know wat to buy to glue them plz let me know! btw ur amazing

  • @figureskating26 E6000 is the name of the glue and you get it where you buy the stones.

  • One word: wow

  • amazing i wish i cud skate like this! i was so excited when i saw that you uploaded a new video!!:)

  • AMAZING just don't hesitate before the double axel because 1 it's painfully obvious and 2 it isn't going to help the jump I love your skating Gia!

  • @spunkysk8er1997 Working on that right now. You are right. I was so nervous about doing it- that was my first one in front of people. I am getting my short program now for Intermediate and the double axel is my first jump, so I have to fly right into it without slowing down.

  • There are threethings I'm feeling right now 1)Amazment! 2) Happiness 3) Jelousy go Gia you're reallygood, I wish I could skate like that!

  • @xx5436 Thank you so much for the wonderful support. I really appreciate it.

  • OMG! Gia, you are one of the most beautiful and talented skaters that I know! I hope that you never stop skating!
