I only asked him to tell us his religious beliefs to demonstrate that a Scientologist will not tell you his religious beliefs because you have to pay to find out -- another reason it is pointless to go inside the church.

if you DABBLE in scientology, like this rainbow sprite did, you don't have to change whatever religious beliefs you had before. You can start out being a scientologist and being a jewish baptist. Its only when you start trying to reach high OT levels that its as if you are paying for knowledge of your beliefs, I think.

And anyway, an OT can't tell you his beliefs because you have to pay. But don't use this squirt as proof when he's not even that...

That was also part of my point in asking his beliefs -- since Scientology runs a bait and switch where they start out saying they're compatible with other religious beliefs, and you only get the Xenu story once you're thousands of dollars in.

I know he said he only dabbled in it, but it's not the first time a Scientologist has claimed not to be one when talking to critics.

Can you please tape only one anon at a time on one topic at a time when in conversation with a scilon? That boy has ADHD for sure! Yeah, sorry about the chaos. As far as I know, this was our first ever exchange with the opposition, and we were all trying to get a piece. Things went a little more smoothly at the April protest, but still several people chiming in at once.

After talking with them in April, I think they're both probably nice people. As long as communication continues, I'm sure we'll reach an understanding.

This guy was doing classic "projection" from a psychology perspective. He was projecting his anger against people who are biggoted against homosexuality and treating this group as if it was biggoted against scientology and drawing a parallel in his own mind. I don't think he was even a scientologist and he definitely doesn't know nor care specifically what he was defending.

Okay. First of all, this guy is one of my best friends. He doesn't give a crap what people think about him in his gender preference, but he IS Scientologist. So...He did care, he does know, and did defend. At least he had the courage to show his face to these bigots.

I'm not quite clear about what he knows, or how he defended. He would not share any information about Scientology, but only challenge us to go inside the Org. When presented with examples of Scientology's abuses, he could only deflect by mentioning other religions.

As far as his "courage": He has nothing to fear from showing us his face.  We will not hire private investigators to stalk him, harass him at work, or spread black PR around his neighborhood, which is what Scientology has done and continues to do with its critics.
