@thecajunblaze Ive been watching your videos for a couple of hours and I need your help man. I just got some cash for graduation and Im looking into buying a Spyderco knifes mainly the Manix 2 or the paramilitary I cant decide. What would you choose? or if you had around $100 to buy a knife what would it be?? Thank you for your help!
Yo Cajun, you might want to highlight this on your page, or something like that... I'm new to this stuff so you know the technical jargon a tad more than me i'm sure. But i found these cases online buddy. actually, it's not letting me post a web address in here. so i'm not sure how to show you...
the only main thing you can like or not like a spyderco is the hole ... offcourse there's also the high quality and materials , and sometimes even price vs value ( like the tenacious ) but most people who hate spyderco knives is because of the hole ... no offence to those people , but i simply love the look of the hole on spydercos , and it's so popular even other bigshot knifecompanys make designs with the spyderhole .. way the go Mr. cajunblaze awesome collection !!
beautiful knife collection..i wanna move in into your house and play all day long with your knives :) ..may be i am insane..but i believe..this could make me happy :-)
Aww, looking at that sog 2 collection makes me sad. Was edcing my sog 2, went to the gym, came back to my locker to find someone broke into my locker and stole my knife along with my wallet.
Bah, well good way to keep the knives safe and scratch free! :)
@CHOSEN7X7 No harm, I get smart ass comment quite often. When I saw your comment on when I grow up and then look at your channel and see that you are retired. You may be older than me.
Just think you are being a smart ass and maybe you can show us how you can do a better job with your knife storage. Again no harm, hope you have a great weekend.
hey just askin do you think you can send me one bro. and also you should buy a buck 110 automatic there about $200 but there pretty good i dont got one personly but i heard they are very good
6 packs with 12 knives each is 72 knives... even if they all only cost $30 each (really, REALLY low number for a large percentage of the knives he has, especially the autos which can easily be well over $100 each, The $30 is an arbitrary number) it would cost $2160. Even if CB got em at gunshows/in trade/used/whatever, I'm sure the actual number is a way more than that.
Very, very nice collection you have there Cajun! Btw, I'm a Louisiana boy myself too lol
@thecajunblaze lol, believe me I understand. Just saw the comment about how it had to be hundreds of dollars. I had a feeling you didn't just start collecting last week. ;)
@z000987 I guess open storage would be better, but I am not noticing any weak springs. One knife the Benchmade Auto Stryker still has the oringinal spring, bought in 1998.
@thecajunblaze Storing in a leather sheath is fine for short time, but if you're putting them away for a longer period definitely DO NOT store them in a leather sheah. Very upleasant things will happen over time...most of it being due to what the leather showly releases. Don't know if there are issues with storing long term in non-leather sheaths.
I just bought a Zero tolerance 0300(the big fatboy) and the ZT 0400(tanto),they're both very high quality with zero play and wiggle-plus they have a nice decent weight.
I also have a couple SOG's but find these to be somewhat plasticky and light...
Not to be a downer, but do you feel any guilt or shame for having spent money on so many knives when you could have bought one or two to fill your needs and given the remaining money to charity?
Last night at work I asked a fellow Christian about whether he felt any guilt for owning 17 guns, as I pointed out that the Bible says it's wrong to be materialists. He said his peace of mind was fine and that I shouldn't feel bad for buying what I like. I told him he's going to the abyss with his guns.
Not to be a downer, but does it bother you that your church (Catholic) used to burn people alive for asking questions or having doubts about their official doctrines?
Religion is great if it's kept to yourself or immediate family.
Going around through life instilling guilt in others from the reference point of what your cult mandates is a real turn off.
I was simply interested in the general philosophical topic of being materialistic while considering how it relates to the broader human condition.
Lately I've been very materialistic by buying a number of things that I wanted but don't need. And yes, I do feel a bit of guilt ... but, The Lord willing, I'll see about assuaging it later on down the road ... .
Incidentally, I posted this very same question to several others on the Internet to get many reactions.:-)
Where did you buy those cases? I could really use one, Love your vids man, your always my first or second reference, How much are those cases? Im 13 and carry a SOG Flash II (soon to be a Aegis) and have maybe 8 big folders like those, and a lot of general knives, like Swiss army, gentelemens knives, etc... Any reccomendations for how i should store them? I have them lose in a safe, so if my little brothers friends come over they wontt decide to get nosy and play with them, than you,
i would recomend takeing a silver sharpie and labeling with the brands or a number so you kniw whats in each one or deticating one pouch to one brand and labeling that .Hope this helps, i dont know the best way but i would try it.
I have one very similar to those ones, might be exactly the same. Very good for the price indeed. But I would like to point out that at least in mine, I can't close the velcro when it's full, and I can barely close it when 1 side is full.
i kind of felt sad the other day when i realized i had way too many quality knives. i have spent so much money and i still want more. then i seen this video. made me happy to know there are true addicts out there... peace.

iv always stored mine open.
