The fact that the guy has headlight on his bike tells you that hes probably running on street tires. Also judging by speed and ridingpos i say hes pretty new. Riding on any street tire are hazardous and on top of that adding skills of a biginner makes it iven more so. These things happen when ju get just a little carried away. And it happends to everybody.
A wild guess i say he was riding on michelin. Any michelin tire drops the bike like a pistol shot. Even the slick tire.
Big and big. Race tires are more forgiving and have more feel. The slide away softly and there is margin for backing off before its to late. As a biginner this advantage will still be hard to use since it takes some practice. Biginners are often slow in corner and at end of corner very hard on throttle. Then any tire will come lose.
hi m8 i got a track day coming up soon at donnington park are you aloud a camera on the bike or not. and what was your top end on there, its going to be my first time on a track day im goin round on a honda fireblade cbr900 looking to reach about 170mph on it, and is it worth buying thoses mushrooms for the sides of the bike
Its a fast track too so guess you wont be far off.. why you looking to reach 170? just ride ya bike round the track FAST and see what it feels like.Think mine was bout 140 down back straight..
tight!! looked as if he come of quite lightly considering. at least his bike didnt go cart wheeling down the track. like i said though, still tight .... sigh... EH danroots... wish i knew where to get warmers for 40 - 50 quid. Sure u didnt mean 150!!
if you look on racing foums you can find used sets that have been hardly used. ive seen a set of hww for sale for 55 quid and they had only been used at 4 race meetings
shit ope e waz k very slippery track n cold tyres jus gt a pair of tyrewarmers k they might cost 40 - 50 for a decent set but think how much it could save ya
donnington can be very slippery at times (ita like a bleedin skating ring when its been raining) might have been something on the track or it could have been he/she put the throttle on too early and tryed to stand it up earlier to get a faster exit through the corner....
Yeah you got it! a 2 stroke blew its gutts out early on in the day, he only kept riding it...hence the long line as you said...we only had a small gap to squeeze through all day.
Somebody got greedy with the speed. Did anybody find Troy's finger yet? I saw Sandy Brody do an endo in a Formula Ford over that fence, and land in the pub spectator area. Can't remember if I crashed there. Maybe it was the concussions? Great track, great museum. Almost qualified on pole in British F3 in the rain. Coultard and Jackie Stewart almost shite themselves.
Just Flicked him off lol Not the first, not the last ;-)

Once the throttler is turned on its turned on evenly smoothly and constantly throughout the remainder of the turn. XD

oil on the track at a guess.
look at the cement line down the straight, thers been a spillage of something and he may have got some on his tyre/marshalls might have missed a bit.
or hes really just ham fisted

I doubt that it had anything to do with the bike he was riding. Can an expert analyze this accident?
