Hi, this had me confused as well. However, from the serial number (and from the 'Lisa' trade mark on the serial number label) it was made in June '83 which means it is a Lisa and the XL started in Jan 84. It appears that the switch was added by Sun Remarketing who bought the rights to the Lisa from Apple, at least, that's what I've been able to find out.
Oh yeah. And they aren't in business anymore. I heard that some of the leftover Lisas went to Sun Remarketing and the rest went to an "undisclosed landfill". =)
If it has the Lisa/Mac switch then this is the Macintosh XL not the Apple Lisa. It's the same computer, just a different name.

I got the years wrong :(
This system was made in June '84 and the MacXL was introduced in Jan '85
