@babescraftroom The circle was 1 inch. I just made the length as long as my fabric- which didn't matter because I cut it off when it was full enough and used the leftover piece to start the next one. Because of the ragged texture on the ends you cannot tell where a new strip began, so it doesn't matter. I would just make it as full as you like to your personal taste. :)
@klipngirl thank you, that does make sense and I just didn't want to go too short, but I guess it doesn't matter. I am going to make some, they are the nicest ones I have seen here. And thank you for answering me so quickly. Hope you check out my channel and become a subscriber so we can me buddies.. :)
@MGarciareporting I sewed the lace on top of the white fabric and then cut slits like a grass skirt effect along the edge, and folded as I glued it down. Folding it at the base makes it fan out and creates the ridges.
lol...............i live in australia i wish we had a walmart a glue gun here is about $25 .American goods are sooooo much cheaper , but thankyou for your quick reply....
@danine56 You could use another glue, but you would have to hold it all down as you glued and then wait for it to dry. Glue guns are so inexpensive you should consider getting one...I use mine all the time. You can even pick one up at Walmart for about $3 so it's not a big investment if you don't want to spend much.
Can you tell me what the length you used and the size of the circle was?
thank you. oh and I love it, I plan on making some.. tfs.

How did you get the ridges on the white fabric?? Still puzzled on it because you didn't show it.
