  • I wasn't in there:/

  • i wish they would make more of this its so interesting

  • thumbs up if u wana try wat that shark is all about... we should catch it and try to get wasted off it

  • giusto il primo squalo sembrava gradire... gli altri due neanche hanno trovato interessante l'esca! :))

  • of all the things to know about a shark that deep in the water, is that it will get you drunk. the people could not learn anything else

  • but ... i thought sharks and rays were related to start with ... so of course the shark is related to them both ... i mean i see what he means, but he makes it sound like sharks and rays aren't related ...

  • ignore the troll. He feeds off your righteous indignity.

  • @justcallmeSheriff But you see, they have no righteousness or dignity. They're lefties.

  • 1:43 look a lobstar xD

  • The animal rights people got it backwards. As usual. The shark is not attacking humans because they appear to look like seals in the water. They are attacking seals because they look like humans in the water. This is the way it has always been, and now these nut-cases are trying to influence the minds of the young and naive with this bleeding-hearted hogwash. Humans were always the shark’s favorite food. It's just that so few people go in the water compared to seals.

  • @TerraceYouth your a fuckwit who clearly has a major fear for sharks, sharks always feed on fish and whatnot, alot of sharks don't even bother with humans because they can't eat us. over come your fear and stop trying to influence others minds so that we go out and kill them for you

  • @hindazz829 LOL...!! Yeah. Right. Famous last words. You people and your poor judgment.... The entire WORLD is in a mess because of thinkers like you. Never had half of the problems we do today before your slimy ilk came along! Anyway, you go off and commit suicide if you so please. But don't think that you can just drag the rest of us blindly in behind you. RE-TARD. As in MORON and IDIOT and IMBECILE. Just to name three of the things that you don't understand the social or medical meanings of.

  • @TerraceYouth fucking marine scientists have proven that the Sharks instinct is to attack seals and anything that look like them, and never tell someone to commit suicide you dumb cunt

  • @hindazz829 fucking marine whoevers are bleeding hearted liberal morons just like you. So their judgment is tainted. All one need do is to look at their voter's regstration cards to see just where they're coming from. Like I've heard it said of you people (and it's true)..."The eye that alters alters all".

  • @hindazz829Yeah, like who should be afraid of a huge carnivorous fish with a brain the size of a walnut that sports a mouthful of razor sharp seriated teeth!? I guess all of those missing people just faked their own deaths & make it LOOK like they were attacked by one! You'd better believe I'm afraid of them. And so should you be. But because we are SMARTER than them, fear is only the primary reaction. That quickly turns to the desire to STOP this lawless predator before he can kill again.

  • @TerraceYouth no... we look like seals on a surf board. get your fucking facts right. i dove in with a great white. he didnt do anything. he just swam along

  • @killerslayer543 Then why do they continue to attack people! He didn't attack you for one reason: HE WASN'T HUNGRY. Figure it out, dick-wad. Great whites ESPECIALLY have a taste for human flesh. If people were in the water in the same numbers as seals, then you'd see the truth. But because you're a touchie-feelie feminized MORON, you only see what Big Mother tells you to.

  • @TerraceYouth thats only for an exploratory bite. great whites taste things when they are not mature. a 20 foot great white is most likely only 10 years old. only when they are starving to death they will attack and eat a human. i dove in with it. it was 7 meters long.and was eating fish. it didnt do a thing. get your facts right and stop watching jaws

  • @killerslayer543 So tell me... How do you KNOW all these so-called "facts"? Great White sharks are one of the most secretive fish in the sea & little is known of their habits. Yet you say they only eat humans when they’re starving to death!! How do you know that? So they find a GW washed up on the beach with a digestive disorder that also has some human remains in its stomach... Then people like YOU come along & try to hammer it down to fit into your prejudicial belief system! What a JOKE!

  • @TerraceYouth I have been diving with sharks for 6 years. ever since my 4'th year where i first saw a great white i said fuck it and left the cage. i touched it. and ever since then iv been swimming with great whites. NOT ONCE have i been bitten or attacked by them. or any shark.

  • @killerslayer543 And your proof? LOL...!!! Post a video of you 'interacting' real touchie-feelie like with Mister Whitey here. Then I'll pay your twisted bullshit viewpoints a little more closer attention.

  • lets all get drunk off shark and save the booze! or is it whales...

  • lets all get drunk off shark and save the booze!

  • this is so boring.

  • lol 1:39 little lobster :)

  • 1.... Yeah would be pretty cool actually. Sadly, LAWs do not protect people. They give them a false sense of security. Herp-a-dee-derp.

2.... What's wrong with killing a shark, then leaving it on the pier? Either some homeless man gets a free meal or he feeds the seagulls, or it gets pushed back in and it helps feed more fish.

3.... Herp derp. Not my fault you guys don't think. There are animals in the wild who kill for fun and not to eat btw. IE. Black Panther.

    Have a nice day. :)

  • @anewkindofangel yea well animals don't kill for fun it's pureley instinctive. they evolved so that when they see prey they just need to hunt it. like when u throw a ping pong ball in front of a cat.

  • @anewkindofangel surely you talk about something you have no information...Your brain is probably less evolved than any animal or regular human...

Have a nice day, and go read a book before talk about facts which you dont know about

  • hmmm

  • fucking CGI. That's all I gotta say.

  • i thought he was gonna say the khymara was related to sharks and ghosts

  • Six Gill, estimated size of 5+ meters. /watch?v=fdSk7J2CLIo

  • lobster at 1:37?

  • stupid to kill such a beautiful animal just for human socalled "fun" !!!

  • First he said it can grow up to 16ft then he take it back saying it can grow up to 25ft...lol...what a fail...

  • @bertric23

The "fail" is yours as he was talking about two different shark species. The sixgill grows to 16 feet, the sleeper grows to 25 feet.

  • @Ryodraco

you fail...failure of all time...ahahaha...u know nothin' bout this...talkin' to me like you smart and shit...

  • @bertric23

Actually I consider myself fairly learned concerning sharks, not that one has to be as you simply misinterpreted what the narrator said.

And if you have a problem with what I said it would be nice if you explained it with an actual argument. Your mistake is nothing to be ashamed of, I was just pointing out that your criticism of the video wasn't valid.

  • 0:01 to skip

  • wow random ass shrimp at the bottom haha

  • the shriimp is liike wat about me im rare tew !!

  • Fucking ancient.

  • yeah, really annoying voice

  • The Ocean is such a amazing beautiful place, that we know so little about, like the universe, i am so interested and excited by the newly found things in the ocean but also sometimes sad because some of the things humans use to find these and what we do to the ocean, like nuclear tests can kill off these magnificent creatures.

  • Yeah, goblin shark is the most fucked up scary looking shark. Like holy fuck. x:

  • This is interesting, but the guy's voice makes me feel like he's talking to 3 year olds.

  • That narrator should work for a KIDS SHOW because he sounds as if he is talking to KIDS!

  • well' maybe next century , people might found very rares shark, like haft-shark haft-human because back there in our ocean area it all cover with that poison of the american's testes BOMB , Which that they were asked permission whit those (who don't know)what BOMB is gonna bring to there ocean, and now they are eating fish from it ,and its like junk food, but thank god for these AMERICAN because it gonna take a million years to get rid of the radeision.

  • @exposing31 .....

    vore?

    ....

    >.>

  • lol

the drunk skin shark?? i must catch it

  • thats the most condescending, patronizing stupid commentary i've ever heard. shame on you National Geographic!!

  • could it be??? an even, MORE, annoying narrator???

narrators have a TENdency to be REALly anNOYing.

  • agreed americans seem to like it...

    (and here come the hate...)

  • Theyve found sixgills upwards of 18 feet on film

  • the 3rd one looked heaps weird

  • This guy's voice is really annoying.

  • @taxmonkey123 he sounds like a guy from a 3rd grade science movie like hes talking to kids

  • @taxmonkey123 When i read this comment I was like "meh, can't be that bad" then as the video started playing....it really is that bad.

  • @taxmonkey123 American cheese voice sucks

  • by the way a sleeper shark is olso known as a greenland shark

  • 2bad i dont like fish otherwise that flesh would be better as alcoholic drinks ;)

  • I really hope we get to the bottom of the ocean before I get too old

  • "rarer"? really?? wow..

  • i wonder how that drunk shark taste like

  • Amazing!

  • Who narrating, Dora's boyfriend?

  • @MrSushi900 could be dora's boyfriend.

  • I wanna eat the alcohol shark !

  • shark liquor xD

  • thats lobster is awesome

  • lol AWESOME SHARKS!!! And the lobster as well xD

  • hahaha the lobster give em some credit

  • at the end of the video there is a lobster haha

  • Comment removed

  • a 6 gilled shark is now often at night off of the coast of seattle, washington

  • natl geo needs a new narrator. this guy has a horrible voice.

"WHATS THAT?! COULD IT BE?! A PACIFIC SLEEPER!!!"

  • well its probably not his fault, they could of wrote scripts.

  • I agree....he's got to go! He's narrating like he's talking to a bunch of 3 year old kids. lol.

  • "OMG! IT IS!"

    I agree with you

  • @tiffylis COME ON! THAT NARRATOR HAS GOT TO GO!!! HE SHOULD BE IN A KIDS SHOW!!!!!! There should be a narrator that can be more scientific not a narrator that reads to 3 - 6 year olds.

  • OMG what is this shark named? I bet there are only a few of this kind in all the seas!!!!

  • A six gilled shark found in ireland?? wtf dats mad i tot de most exoctic creature we had here were sheep or sometin haha or mayb a leperachaun!wat an idiot for killin it

  • LOL i want that one sharks so i can just eat and feel fucking drunk that would be sick!!!

  • that wicked!

  • PENIS!

  • some idiot caught and killed a 1056lb 6 gilled shark in ireland recently, he was in his 60's and from swizterland

    what a stupid bastard !!

  • sweet, i bet that was one tasty shark

  • @K0K4NE Someone probably told him it would cure his impotence.

  • @jeffdoeskungfu the idiot just wanted a photo of it beside him, he took a little piece of it and left the rest on the pier.

I would have chopped the old bastard up and used him as chum if i had been anywhere near that place.

  • @K0K4NE duh he was a dumb fucking foreigner

  • @K0K4NE why is he stupid

  • @micklfc2008 he killed it just so he could have his picture taken with it. He then left it on the pier and fucked off home.

  • @K0K4NE ok there is no way in hell i can defend an irishman that done that , fuckin prick should be chained and left on a pier then we should take a few photos of him and leave him there ...

  • @micklfc2008 he was Swiss,not Irish.

  • @K0K4NE ok

  • @micklfc2008 ok

  • @K0K4NE Can't enjoy any fucking nature video with out reading the stupid shit you animal fuckers post. It's called nature. Humans are animals too. Animals kill one another and eat one another. No humans are not the only animal on the planet that just kills to kill. No humans are not the only animal on the planet who kills because they have the urge to kill. Try reading up on the black panther for instance. You people piss me off. Wish dinos were still around to eat all your hippie asses.

  • @anewkindofangel what are you smoking you dumbass,i hunt,i fish,i drive a large gas guzzling car.I'm no earth loving hippy.

People that kill animals for no other reason than sport are fucked up. The shark i mentioned was killed and left on the pier after the guy had his photo taken with it, i have no time for people like that.

  • @anewkindofangel .You're a retard, I'm no hippie, I love me some beef, I drive a gas guzzling muscle car, I have assault rifles, and served in war, but there should be laws to protect "endangered species", just like there are laws protecting yourself, after all we're just animals wouldn't it be cool if people could hunt you for sport? Oh wait that's just nature.

  • Don't know if you think it's funny but, it's not.

If you think it's a joke. Those "n*****'s" out there won't take it as a joke.

  • Lol the sleeper shark looks drunk, I wouldn't want skin like that.

  • No wonder it is rare.

If i would have seen it i dont think i could tell anybody.

  • Very Best Seen

  • i think if they explored more of the ocean than we could find much more interesting things than this.i mean dont you think we could do better than this!?!?

  • oh, the marine life that we know of now is very interesting. and there is more to be found

  • i believe that there are thousands more species of animals that we have not discovered, even on land.

  • "the ghost sharks, related to both sharks and manta rays"

i thought they were gonna say sharks and ghosts

  • we know more than mars than the sea and we dont know that much about mars

  • I think we'd have to ask the government first...

  • i dont think they'll answer u :P

  • whoa! 5000 feet. i fell off my chair when i heard that.

  • BIKINI BOTTOM 8D

  • LOL that's cute :P

  • Kinda weird when you think about all the stuff in the ocean that hasn't been found yet. There's probably dinosaurs thought to be extinct still in the ocean. I have a little goal of finding all the "hidden" creatures in the world. A little scary though, because thinking of all the stuff that could be down there is creepy. Didn't some fisherman actually find a dead megamouth shark?

  • ohh, i dont know.

but id like to see that though :o

  • well its prity posseble like the mithalogial creatue the kracken it beleived to still exist and the largest recorded (on camera) squid is 60ft at each tentical and the picture was taken with a specilised camera 1000ft under the sea

  • it wouldnt be surprising if they found a living Megalodon XD (its a pre-historic white shark, its many times bigger then an average white shark)

  • If they did, I think I would die of excitement :D

  • haha same XD

  • On average, the current guess is 3 times bigger than a white (45 -60 ft) based on teeth comparison. And also, some are beginning to lean away from from thinking the great white and meg were related, as the white shark teeth show more closer cosmetic relation to the big toothed mako.

  • @Alphas0 Yeah. If it broke through and arrived at the part where normal sharks swim at, we're in BIIIIIIIIIIG Trouble. That Megalodon could swallow an ENTIRE raft or a yacht.

  • Which is why I disagree with people who think we will never explorer other worlds until we finished exploring ours. We know more about our solar system and galaxy then our own plants surface, including the bottom of the ocean people. We were exploring new lands back in the days before we knew what was under the ships we used to sail the oceans. We explored the moon before mapping out the ocean floor. With all our differences we still achieve more with flying then with diving.

  • i hope they make very good technology that can go even deeper than we already know

  • Chimaeras rawk!

  • did a shark and ray mate

  • Could be the shark and rays stem from the same family tree at one point in the genetic pool. We always say dinosaurs this and that, things like the sharks could be older then Dinosaurs. Well before Dinosaurs the sharks had to evolve from something else... who knows.

  • 25 ft long?? that is long

  • thats what she said

  • waite so if that shark is related to a shark and ray does that mean the at some point a shark and ray had sex or something? thats really interesting can someone anser seriously?

  • no, not really,

Darwins evolution theory says that animals are able to adapt to the situations they live in, a bird on an island with only fish in water, would have a long nose to catch fish with.

it could be that this shark "evoluted" (not related to pokèmon xD) to what it is now.

    that is what i think!

  • o ok makes since

  • i think you mean "evolved". lol

  • i really don't want to know what else is still down there in our oceans. that thought really scares the hell out of me.

  • ccooooooolllllllllll

  • I wanna eat those

  • nah if i do I would probably have ate it already lol.

  • Some people are obsessed with space travel, but I'm just as interested in the stuff we still haven't discovered on our own planet.

  • Wow, a shark that can induce drunkenness when eaten. That's quite interesting.

  • thats some cool stuff

  • Oooooh-hooo-hoo, thats freakin scary, I bet there are way more monsters we'll never know of because they are too deep

  • Touch'er.

  • That's exactly what I thought....and then later I thought "I want to eat the shark that makes you drunk" :)

  • Will you, or will you not? Lets see if you'll click me!!!

  • this was a simulation

  • Sand does not look that real in a simulation

  • You have no way of knowing that.

  • 1:42 shrimp c:

  • now, really... who's gonna dive 5,000 feet to kill a rare, hard-to-find shark when they can pick up a 6 pack from the gas station a couple blocks away?

if he'd said something like, "eating the meat of this shark makes you fly" then we might need to worry..

  • well if you like getting drunk at parties then driving you should eat that instead, since it induces instant drunkness without the high levels of alcohol so the police cant get you.

  • Who is to say they toxin won't kill you after "x" amount of time?

  • thanks to the moron narratating this, the sleeper shark is going to be killed off within a month.

  • exactly! why did he have to say that?

  • The guy who narates this is a twat

  • ur wierd
