sadly, it isnt. They've completely changed their style IMHO. They sound alot more Alt Rock influenced, and wayyyy more poppy. Oh and just so you know Thomas also changed his voice, that means no more of the high registered Thomas who was able to do the shrill singing that no one else could do, nope now its "the thomas who cant stay on key". I still love them, just wish their album was less of a let down.

i know. i was so let down with the album. i was expecting an even better version of manipulator, or POTH. the new album is very meh, it seems like it lacks the energy that made S/T so great, the production of doppelganger, and the lack thereof in manipulator. the riffs are bland and uninspired, and the lyrics are just plain terrible on some songs. overall i was QUITE disappointed

I advise learning some of their early stuff first before you progress to say Mouths like Sidewinder Missles and most of the Dopplganger stuff. Try some of The 30 years War stuff.
