I entirely believed the ease of the best buddy friendship & secret sizzlely passionate undying love between the 2 main characters & the whole relationship marinaded in delicious hip hop just made the movie satisfying. I hate rom coms but this 1 is actually good-simple story stylishly told (many 'black films' dont get the right backing 2produce quality film i'd love to see the New Spikes Lees come thru)

Great movie, I can relate to it in many ways. I hate to look at where hip-hop is now.. sure, there is still plenty of quality music coming out, but you don't hear much of it on the radio nor TV. People like Flo-Rida and Soula Boy are the reason I am disgusted by today's hip-hop, popular hip-hop was more artistic and genuine in the 90's. Now it's mostly trash, hip-hop sounds like pop, rappers do songs that would sell well as ringtones and the lyrics is so damn stupid.
