In generalI HATE elvis-Impersonators but what Andy Kaufman was doing is VERY GOOD. If he would`nt had done it as a brilliant comedian he would have made a big career as an elvis-Impersonator par excellence. You can see it in his whole performance that Andy must had a lot admiration for Elvis.

there's a chance that i was misinformed, but im pretty sure he was the first elvis impersonator. he did it just to be random and off the wall.
