  • Mechanix gloves with an ammunition container, in the military?

  • now if you were to make a kukri like that...

  • price??

  • This s30v?

  • I wanted to see the concrete stabbed head on to see how the tip would hold up

  • :0 dude that would cut good :F

  • Well jeeze you didn't need to stab the ammo can, I woulda taken it off your hands...

  • ok fuck any person who says its sheet metal. its a fuckin ammo box made out of pretty tough ass steel

  • is it possible to buy one from you

  • Geez Drowning Pool SUCKS!! That is the worst music in the world!! I can't even focus on the test because that music sucks my @ss so bad.

  • ...ouch...

  • I want one in scandi grind! I really want to know if you can make me one.

  • those are somehigh quality knives

  • good video, i think i'd rather hear u talking about how the knife holds up then the annoying music but its obviously a good knife

  • It looks like your knives are well made, maybe "beefy" is a better word. Nice product E.

  • Never seen a knife made out of O-1,, i'd love to see what the hardness level is... 55-60 maybe?

  • @kyle1058 That's kind of...pretty much...the range of most knives of this type...so...yeah.

  • how much is the knife? in usd

  • That's one tough knife!

  • wtf is wrong with you destroying your knives like that?

  • Destroying? This knife is still in use in my shop! The only damage that resulted from the tests was some damage to the edge from the cinder block. That damage was fixed in about 15 min using a bench stone.

  • wow sorry for my outburst i am a real knife lover and it happened out of impulse

  • its an ammo can not a metal box

  • if these knives were any good at all, you wouldnt be using them to attack sheet metal boxes.

  • Really? I guess your right, why would I want to test the capabilities of the knives that I make. Thanks for playing, you fail!

  • @ThreeFingeredJack read fakin u retart KNIFE ABUSE TEST

  • wow. what knife?

  • it pierces METAL BOXES

    must be s9 then

  • It is O1 tool steel.

  • Sir, why is it that so many knifemakers are reluctant ( downright hostile) to using guards?

  • poor knives=[ good vid=] and poor metal box=[

  • Hope you were wearing your safety goggles

  • good,try WILDSTEER now ! enjoy...

  • Scandi grinds are awesome for destruction tests. They make excellent bushcraft knives due to their extreme durability.

  • ummmm dude these knives in the video are definitely not scandi ground! if u look closely there is a final change of angle to the cutting edge. but dont worry about it i thought they were scandi ground too at first....

  • The knife in the video is hollow ground.

  • What kind of knife is that ?

  • Nice blades! A+

  • spring steel?

  • what was that box you cut into

  • Standard steel ammo can.

  • the knife you use in this video is pretty awesome.

  • what is this song

  • Voices

    Disturbed - Great band

  • still loving the knife you made me. man its even more than i had hoped for. tougher than a sack full of anvils. had it since just after xmas, use it at work everyday and still sharp. you put the mojo on this one.

  • What's the name of that song?

  • cant think of the name but its by disturbed

  • disturbed - voices

  • impressive, what are the specs, steel used?

  • ...you just stay away from my knives. I'm quite fond of their sharp edges and I dont want that to change.

  • The only damage that the knife sustained from the tests was some chipping after the cinder block. It was repaired in about 15 min. with a wet stone.

  • i forgot to mention that the length of the 1" x 2" oak board that i used my Kramer knife to shave off 1/4" with is 6' long. so the edge got a nice workout. it didnt dull the knife at all.

  • This knife is so well designed and so well made that its a pleasure to use. i used my Kramer knife to trim off 1/4 from the length of a 1" x 2" oak board the other day. i didnt baton the 1/4" off of the board,..i whittled it off. only took about 5 minutes.

  • i did baton some cedar shake shingles with it the other day so i could shim a door that i was hanging. worked like a champ. oh and i used the knife to mortise in a lockset for the door because we didnt have a chizel. it did a great job. still shaves hair on my arm too. lol i was even using it to crack walnuts one day,..lol. just whacked them with the back edge of the blade or the side of the balde,..either way worked great.

  • i have also cut a buttload of cardboard with my Kramer knife. it goes through it like butter. we had a tornado the other night. first thing i did was put my shoes on my feet, my cell phone on my belt and my Kramer knife on my belt also. never know when you may be in a survival situation if a tornado hits, and 5 did in my town that night. my house was spared TG. i am very pleased with this knife. and oh by the way,..i think the music on the video kicks butt.

  • damn that would slice through flesh like butter

  • Good video..but the music is annoying as HELL

  • I have not had a chance to put this knife to the test yet but judging from the looks of it, I am confident that this knife is tougher than a redneck mother-in-law. Thank you Eric, we will do business again.

  • The fit and finish of this knife is very nice. The kydex sheath is well designed, heavy duty enough for extreme conditions, yet not in the least bulky. The Kydex belt attachment is secured to the body of the sheath with roundheaded bolts (nice touch) and the knife can be worn in either a vertical or horizontal carry position. This knife cut paper like a razor blade right out of the box.

  • i received my kramer knife today. i ordered one just like the knife in the video with the tan handle. this is a first impression evaluation. Eric has been very considerate and a pleasure to do business with. My new knife arrived in a timely manner for a custom made blade. The knife is very impressive. Eric's craftmanship is excellent. His grind lines are all very even and the whole design of the knife says, "use me".

  • Impressive quality. 5 stars for the knife.

  • i got a knife that i made from a file it can cut 1" bolt in half by taping it with a hammer

  • i ordered one as a christmas present for myself. i really look forward to using this knife for many years to come.

  • o for fuck sakes, cinder blocks? nice knife man

  • i gotta have one

  • those knives are great..how much would one of those cost??

  • dude all u did was copy off of knifetestsDOTcom

  • Thanks for the info, i had never seen that site before. As for me "copying from their site, all I did was take I knife that I made and beat the crap out of it to see what it would take. The ammo can test I did I got the idea from the cold steel video where they use a car. 2x4 cutting is used in cutting compititions everywhere so I suppose I copied that from them as well. Thanks for the reply.

    Eric Kramer

  • Damn

  • its every emo kids dream

    LOL

  • Nice test.

    Peace.

  • man your some kool....

  • O1 is one of my favorite steels to work with as well...Respect!!

  • Thanks, Steel 3/16 thick O1 tool high carbon tool steel.

  • where can u learn how to make knives, ive been looking for someone who teaches in guatemala, but nobody aprecciates a good knife here.

  • If your really serious about making knives you should study low alloy steels and high alloys both google search steel making, you'll find some interesting stuff. the alloy and the treatment is what makes or breaks a blade or any other tool

  • awesome, what kind of metal are the blades made out of?
