I love Darkthrone, but this song is completely wrong. True metal is in abundance, and has been since early times. These guys are probably just too old to notice it. It's not like it's right there just lying around on the surface, you obviously have to look a little past the obvious choices, but that's how it's always been.

I guess the mistake most people make is they think of metalcore when they think of modern metal. Mainstream metal's always sucked, nothing new here.
