I've never seen Loungo defend a teammate. I attended a game in Tampa Bay vs. The Ilanders. I am a huge Isles fan and was 4 rows behind Cloutiers net where all the action took place. Cloutier took a million cheap shots because the refs couldn't control everyone and the Lighting had numbers on the Isles because Loungo wouldn't come down. Cloutier challenged him and Loungo wouldn't fight that broke out hearts he was a coward. The Isles soon smartly traded him.
