This is much better than the studio version. This is How Satriani is meant to be listen too. LIVE!! I never liked his album sounds after the Extremist CD.. And its because after he got signed to Sony, his sound was so much more bastertized on the CD than Live..And Thats Why he is the Greatest guitar player ever.!!!!He can sound Just like the CD or anyway he choses to play..but he still gets the sound he wants exactly! He has so much control over that Guitar..Its superhuman almost!!

you need a tremolo bar; whammy bars only let you lower the pitch of the note, while pushing the bar towards the body, but tremolos can pull away from body of the guitar, raising the pitch.

They're both the same, just different terminology. A recessed whammy/tremolo bar is one that can pull up. Non-recessed bars can only lower the pitch.

the whammy doesnt cause the harmonic it just bends the note once its played, he is doing a pinch harmonic with his thumb on right hand

unless your talking about the last solo at the end , the way the solo takes off at the is a little similar to S & R when the fast part comes , thats the only only similiarity i can hear , the riff is different for the rythm , S & R plays in key of b , redshift on key of A , but its prob the B chord that is sort of similar ,its cool dude , dont worry about it :-D

It's that harmonic with the bend in the chorus that kept me awake for almost an hour last night! It's just amazing what that tone does. It makes the song so mysterious.... The phrygian riff in the beginning makes you curious, like hmmm.. how will the song move on after this riff? Then there's that rock-riff that makes the song cool and after that the lead guitar continues which brings again that kind of mystical feeling. This song is a perfect combination of cool and mystical riffs. Fascinating!
