The idea isn't at all new, worm holes in dryers and washing machines has been suspected almost since their inception :-) I thought the animation was fairly good, but I didn't like the character's dot sized pupils, they made him almost look evil. Small pupils should only be used for fear or when under a spotlight. Using it in this way negates emotion.

Well done, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially liked the sound you used with the slight echo when he first noticed the sock missing while at the dryer door, and the one when the door pushed him in, the thunk of him being pushed in was great.

I thought the music score you chose was also fantastic. This was just a superb job!
