you have to be able to play the file on your windows media player or a media player, so basically you need some codecs installed if it does that

i know mine did too, it said because it only plays 30% with the trial version you need a registraition code

dang, whenever I try to convert an .avi file, the converter doesn't do anything, says error, then it says conversion completed! The file didn't get converted, and when I try to play the file, there's no video, only audio :(

@PianoMastah i know whats wrong it happened to me

1. if the file was first a different format and you converted it, use a different program to convert the program or use another codec.

2. if it was originally avi format, the converter probably doesnt recognise the codec. the program ony recognizes the following codecs: divx and windows media player

i think you can't convert flv videos.... try converting it first to WMV or WMA or sumthing then try converting it again
