its tight around the top of the fenders. Once it was on there it was there to stay. I never wanted to open my trunk because it was down to bare metal where it rubbed, I couldnt even look at it. I think Saleen puts padding on to avoid that. The car looks a little silly because I had to take the Cobra R wheels off and put the stock Bullit wheels on because it stays outside all winter. These cars need at least 275 section tires in the rear to pull it off with no wing. You can tell in the dyno vid.

@nightfire1800 In this video its Crower stage 2 cams with stock heads. I have since replaced the engine with a rebuilt one with Comp 262 Cams and stock heads and make 273RWHP and 296RWTQ

@RJBTrueBlue99 I have a 99 and I plan on getting twisted heads, and custom grindede cams, along with a dyno tune. do you think I will be able to make 330 rwhp? I may get a new trickflow manifold/throttlebody as well.

Currently my car has borla catback. bassani x pipe. K& N cold air intake and a tune. I know I could look it up but I am getting mix responses. lol Thanks

@nightfire1800 Get some long tubes on there and it may be possible. Try getting the plenum and 75mm throttle body too. That may squeeze out a little more power. I have most bolt ons except a mass air meter. If I got long tubes I would expect about 10-15 RWHP best case so that would bring me too approx. 285 and with heads I would expect 20RWHP best case so that would bring me to 305. I would expect about 300-310 to be a more realistic figure 330 may be possible but you would need a factory freak

@JerkVegas86 I picked up a 500 mile rebuild for $1700. I'm going to swap over the cams and bolt ons. A new clutch and new valvesprings are going in while its apart.

@Hollowman110886 Unfortunately the cams were wiped so I had to get new ones, I went with Comp 262 cams and Crower valvesprings. The motor made almost 15 rwhp more and 24rwtq more at the peak and was up that much throughout the whole power band. I have a video of the dyno pull on here.

@Hollowman110886 Yes its a Saleen wing but I sold it. It looked good but it rubbed the rear quarters so bad I had to have both of them repainted. I had the holes in the trunk filled and had that repainted too. Its wingless now.

@pbattle33 You can definetely hear the cams in person, the car shakes and many people can tell its cammed with out me saying so. The idle is at 800RPMs only because it will stall the second I put my foot on the clutch, but with the stock idle it lopes even more so.

@mbrown818 true about the cops, who says he doesn't have ac. He's got mufflers so i don't see how it would be stinky. Besides what do you drive a honda civic with a spoiler on there but can't utilize it cause your car won't go past 60 mph.

Mr. doug lope doesn't always determine whether a different cam is installed it means the cam profile has a high duration and high lift off the valves.

@102rancid-@mbrown818 has been in my car many of times. True, I do have mufflers but no catalytic converters. Mufflers do nothing for cleaning up the air, thats what the cats are for. And yes the car draws alot of heat especially from the exhaust coming right up through the floor. So yes, the car is hot and smelly to drive in.
