  • as allways tamiya knows its way in the sport.

    top level products but in this case i hop they will do homework and bring a new crawler that can standup agienst axial or losi in performance not just quality.

    they should bring a new shafty not moa-with low cg and lots of articulation.....ill drop the coin. i love the tamiya brand.

  • @elbergron Yes Tamiya is well respected and deservedly so. I think that Tamiya never intended to challenge Axial or Losi with the CR-01 but to provide a solid entry level machine that can be greatly improved through aftermarket modifications. In this way the vehicle can grow with the driver rather than the driver needing to buy a whole new machine when his skill has surpassed the capability of the model. This is what makes Tamiya stand above their competition. Cheers!

  • Cool, I just ordered one! ;-) I am buying Unimog and then additional Jeep Wrangler chassis for CR-01. Both cost less then buying only Wrangler kit...

  • 550 au for kit in australia dec 08 well worth the money ! 30 hr assembly time. :( works best with anti roll bars removed.
