The UK underclass are more than an economically marginalised section of society, they have become part of the global south. While our leaders pontificate about education, the global/knowledge economy etc. India and China are outpacing because of their cultural values, based largely on respect, hard work, educational achievement and high aspirations amidst poverty, as opposed to the culture of instant-gratification and educational underachievement prevalent in our inner cities.
people are born into poverty but that doesnt mean they shud stay there, its upto the individual to make a better life for themselves im not sayin they shudnt get help but they cant just give up and resign themselves to the dole! if you want something out of life you should try, why are they called your problems!! cos there YOUR problems no-one else', benefits are to help you when you need it! not everyone can have a ferrari! some people will make more money than you, this is life! deal with it!
EXTREMELY elitist, you obviously have never been forced to eat humble pie. The poor are all poor because their just lazy and stupid eh? Very 19th century of you. Well as someone who grew up very poor, in the U.S., I know how hard my parents worked. I know how hard MOST poor people work and how thy're always getting ripped-off. No one wants to have to take handouts from the govt, or live in run down housing projects. By the way how many billionaires do you know who started out poor?
Just a few hints for your next video. Try to memorize lines and say them to the camera. Don't mind looking at your script every once in a while as long as you are not speaking, you can edit those bits out in Windows Movie Maker.
