All I want is for people to comment on real issues.I know all of the good work that Edwards and Hillary have done in their past. I searched and searched for Obama's and could only find where he gave a couple of donations in the past few years and a few speeches to raise money.Even the Chicago Trib reported that it appeared he has done this only when he knew he would be running for pres.I do research before giving my vote and am not just swayed by sensationalism.

Obama addressed race because he got caught. Otherwise his speech would'd never occurred. He first denied knowing of Wright's rhetoric on national tv. When he got caught then he gave his speech which was extracted, FORCE on him because of the circumstances, But that's fine; all politicians lie. What I object about Obama is that he allowed his daughters to witness Wright's demagogue thus perpetuating the cycle, diminishing the very post-racial America he is trying to achieve.

Why is it the only time America's so called "NEWS" media talks about race in this country is when OJ gets arrested and when a black preacher says some harsh but truthful things that scares WHITE PEOPLE. Maybe if we really talked about race more than under sensational circumstances but under the real daily circumstances (including housing, jobs, health care, criminal-justice, education, etc) that effect blacks and whites alike the "NEWS" might actually be reporting "NEWS" instead of BULLSHIT.
