@Swampwoodsman I think you'll find YOU are the one who's 'full of shit'. Seriously, I could very easily prove that I did in fact write and record this entire track. Do you always have this reaction to things you quite clearly have no ability to comprehend?!
@muzzybear1 Who could always sing? :P It's only me in this song, no other singers/musicians :) If you mean African music in general though, yes! You're right.. some of the songs I listened to as inspiration are quite incredible :)
I envy your musical talent! Just out of curiosity, what are the lyrics to this piece, and what's the lowest bass note in this piece? It sounds like F# but my speakers aren't the greatest for hearing bass lol.
@weatherman102 ..The lowest bass vocals are quite hard to hear, as the string accompaniment has masked them quite a bit. You are right though. In the verses I get down to the F#, one and a half octaves below middle C (at 0.36 and 1.28) Also, at the end of the choruses I just managed to hit a B above middle C! I need more practice :P think i might have said somewhere before, there are 40 vocal parts going on through most of the song! Took quite a while to record them all haha :P
@weatherman102 Hiya! thank you :) The lyrics are made up and don't actually mean anything haha :D I just wrote down random phrases that sounded nice, while listening to the accompaniment. They're mainly just a mixture of vowels and a few random Swahili words. just stuff like 'kuramana awey kavu, ewahmana quetu awey akahvaa' as far as I know, they have no meaning! :P
@sandim123 Hey, thanks for the comment. Funny that you jumped to the conclusion that I used a harmonizer in this.. I did infact, sing all the parts in this song I wrote. There is a four part harmony + an extra lower bass part. For each vocal harmony, I sang it through 8 times. In a lot of the song, there are up to 40 individual voices by me, playing at once. Hope this makes sence :)
Do you give concerts with your 40 alter ego's? because if that so i would like to invite you!
