Basic major/minor 345, 456, 568, 6,8,10

sorry but one more question. what string triads do you pick for chords? so far ive used 3, 4, 5 and 6, 8, 10.....are these close to being right? they just sound sort of right to me. i dont read music or tabs i play everything by ear.

Bruce Bouton was the steel player on that song. He went on to play on sessions with guys like Garth Brooks.
