A pearl necklace is a gift that keeps on giving. The pearl necklace I purchased will be handed down through the family as a tradition on weddings and hopefully will continue for ages. I love the song chosen for this video clip. It says just what pearls have been for us in our family.

I have 3 sets from my mother. I gave set to my new daughter-in-law after the wedding. Her face was priceless. I handed them to her in a velvet box too, unwrapped. Who needs to wrap pearls? I also bought a set for a wonderful woman who watched my children. She mentioned always wanted pearls, but never had any. Again, unwrapped, in the velvet box. Diamonds are a girl's best friend? No. Pearls are a true expression of love that is meant to last.

When I was a little girl, my great aunt, for whom I was named, gave me a strand of pearls in a lovely velvet box. I have always treasured them. Now my daughter likes to wear the pearls for special occassions too. Pearls look lovely in all settings, with all outfits, on all women of all ages. Priceless!
