  • As a Philosophy major - but more importantly, a student of History - I acknowledge the facts that are available for anyone to review. The fact that there were an estimated 10,000 Mexicans (not counting Cubans and Puerto Ricans) that fought for the Confederacy eliminates the racism card. No one disputes slavery was a factor. We just know it wasn't the main factor. The main factor was taxation without representation. Don't argue. Study.

  • @ElJibaroBravo just because they were slaves does not mean they didnt fight on their own free will. a lot of people dont realize that there were a lot of slaves who were treated very well by their owners. they're given food, a home, and clothing for their work and they were content with that. injustice did exist, but the union wasnt any more innocent of ot that than the confederates. i know one thing, the south fought side by side with blacks, and they didnt segregate them into other units.

  • @1cme1 Agreed. Perhaps my answer wasn't clear enough. I was responding to a large grouping of comments I no longer see. I never want to eliminate the horrors of slavery from this discussion. No one ought to enslave anyone else, ever. However, I think history is clear for those who choose to look beyond the Northern revision; the war was fought first and foremost for Southern rights and that encompassed but did not focus on Blacks and slavery. And your comment about the Union was spot on.

  • @ElJibaroBravo ya the way i worded it made it sound like i was disagreeing with what you said, but i was actually just sort of adding on to what you said haha.

  • @ElJibaroBravo You got that right, nice to see intelligent comments without all the haters out there that support closet racism fouling the air...

  • @26yearstoorion Oh... i liked the part where the Queen Elizabeth supported the Confederacy as well.... (Tea Party asside :-p)

  • Arming blacks was debated in the confederacy for the whole war. At the behest of Robert E. Lee, the idea was finally approved by the confederate congress, but too late. Two regular infantry regiments of blacks were formed in Virginia in 1865, but never saw combat.

  • What tosh. Conjecture on top of assumption on top of guesswork to produce bullsh*t. You southern idiots love to think a black man would ENJOY being a slave. Fools!

  • @GAAwudu dude, this video is staring you right in the face and calling you an idiot, no need to go any further

  • @JohnnyCBCS This video could only influence or convince uneducated idiots. We have no idea where the pictures come from and where is the evidence for all the authors assertions? Weak sauce. Pathetic really. Just more wishful thinking from people who want to pretend their forefathers were not the scum that they were.

  • @GAAwudu well, you could contest the validity of anything you refuse to acknowledge. But if you want proven facts about this subject, ask Mr H K Edgerton, he's black and his family was in the South during and after the War. And the pictures come from the archives, only uneducated idiots could refute all this evidence. They are content with the victor's rendering of history, and search no further. Also, people defending their altars and hearthstones are not scum, you're being ignorant

  • @JohnnyCBCS So you consider one man (Edgerrton) and his family as evidence? "And the pictures come from the archives" - what point are you making here exactly? You have no idea of the context under which the pictures were taken. CONTEXT - look it up as it is a key word when it comes to understanding. Especially history. As I said, only uneducated fools would take this clip seriously. Go and read something on philosophical logic. "...all this evidence" - joker...

  • @GAAwudu Edgerton is only one example. Joker is your mom for giving birth to your ignorant ass, and the CONTEXT in which she did so is also a joke. No point arguing with idiots like you, if the clip doesn't match your reality, don't watch it. The context gets a lot better once you shut up

  • @JohnnyCBCS How old are you? So your foolish ass can't argue the case so you make a personal attack. How entirely predictable! Grow up.

  • @GAAwudu my foolish ass didn't have to argue anything, it's your obstinacy in front of this clip that tries to argue. you called me a joker and started personal attacks in the first place, no matter how old or young you might be. You don't like these facts so bullshit like "context" comes up. You grow up and face the truth as it is and nobody will attack you in any way. And, by the way, what was the context in which these pictures were taken. My foolish ass wants to know that, professor

  • What pendulum? The history books have always said the same. South was bad and North was good. That is what I was taught, that was what my parents were taught and that was what my grand parents were taught. The North didn't want to end slavery, they wanted to rid America of the slaves. That is what I have learned.

  • @jimmi1221 and that would be about the 20's right, hence 60-70 years. There was almost no northern scholarship of the war afterwards. Southern biographies were best sellers, besides Grant's and Sherman's view northern ones sold well. And it wasn't what my parents or grandparents were taught. It took untl the post WW2 years for the slavery first view of the war to come about.

  • The north won the war, so the north got to write the history of the war. That is the only history we teach our children. No wonder America is falling.

  • @jimmi1221 except for 70 years after the war the only scholarship of the war was exclusively southern. Do you think the "lost cause" would have even been formulated if the North got to write the history of the war. They were so eager to reconcile they let the south write their history. Stop acting like the South never had a say, from Early, Pendleton, through Freeman all the way to Foote, the South had its chance. Now your whining because the pendulum swings the other way?

  • @TigerRifle1 liar, liar, your dumb ass is on fire!

  • @JohnnyCBCS no actually i'm not, the initial scholarship of the war was pro South.

  • @TigerRifle1 yes, and in Great Britain the initial scholarship was pro-Continental, the only difference is they were actually sent back to where they invaded from. Come on, we all know better. The Federal curriculum was never pro-South, it was never even close to neutral, otherwise how would it justify invasion and imperialism, plagues that continue to eat away at America today, too, even more than after the War (4 TRILLION for 2 wars, the debt continues to rise, the USA is a world policeman)

  • @TigerRifle1 Also, the large majority of Southerners and their leaders were AGAINST secession until there was no other way but to retreat from a union where one stronger side was trying to coerce it's weaker brother. These things must be taught, that it's a shame the United States of America were kept united by force, when democracy was always seen as the cornerstone. Things must be reckoned at their true value, not through the dimmed window of personal emotions. Then there will be no strife

  • Propoganda pure and simple.

  • We look through the prism of time and think we have all the answers to all the questions but the truth is, we are no wiser and no better for the sacrifices of those men during that terrible war. Now Washington again reaches out with its long arms and seeks to impose things on us we do not want. The servant has become the master and this is dangerous for all of us. We should take a lesson from history and see what can happen when government and the people are at odds.

  • I live in Wisconsin but had relatives both in the North and the South who fought in that bloody war. It was a war to determine our national identity and there was more to it than just the question of slavery or states rights. The difference was that Southerners saw their duty and obligation to take back from what they considered an oppressive government, powers it did not have. They merely did what the founding fathers expected all citizens to do.

  • Then as now, Washington is overstepping its authority granted it by our Constitution and our liberties under the Bill of Rights. This is why for the first time since the late Civil War, states have penned Articles of Sovreignty declaring the rights of states to oppose Washington forcing things on citizens. How then were the Confederates different? Were they merely sessionists or did they see something on the horizon that we have taken for granted for too long? Maybe they weren't so wrong.

  • Men went to war for different reasons. Some saw in it adventure, others truly believed in fighting to set other men free. Some did it because for them, it truly was about states rights and what they saw as an oppressive and over reaching government in Washington. Hmmmm, sounds familiar doesn't it? Anyone for states rights now? Anyone who believes that states were given powerful governments in order to prevent Washington from imposing itself on all of us?

  • Is it possible they were offered their freedom if they fought for the confederacy?

  • the south started a war they couldn't finish who cares if some jigaboos join there cause they lost. 186,000 joined the union. the war wasn't about slavery but two thieves fighting for domination both evil.

  • IF THE BLACK MANN...WASN'T BROUGHT TOO AMERICA..IT WOULD OF NEVA HAPPEN ANYWAYY..YU THE MATH AZZZHOOLLLEEEEEE....

  • Might I add that Native Americans served in the U.S. Calvary during the Indian Wars &yet where did they end up after being promised full citizenship, property, wealth, etc? Ah, yes in prisons, in gallows, or on reservations were they fortunate enough to not be "rewarded" for their services. The Civil War was not all about slavery, but this reminds me of people who say "blacks were happier as slaves." Ignorance may be bliss, but brutality &the denial of basic human rights is not a happy life.

  • Broken promises, and centuries of abuse cannot be erased by the few, very few educated, free, wealthy black men who may have (not likely) chosen to fight for the confederacy based on pride in their status as citizens, by their love for their home. Don't get me wrong, the wealthy elite and government in the North weren't really all about the well being of their black brethren, like they would like for you to believe, but making a touchy-feely love fest out of slavery & subsequent abuse is absurd.

  • But what other options did they have other than joining the military? Options are STILL pretty limited to minority groups according to statistics, so what gives? It's 1860 America, all hell is breaking lose. High tariffs, low trade, creation of a new, loosely defined government uniting several states, governments at war. Main income, crops (owned largely by whites), low industry. Segregation & slavery, low-no education. Tell me, what other occupation could a black man have?

  • Outstanding video!!!! Thank you.

  • im a northern reb i used to think oh the south was all slaves untill i watched 10 videos like this and said to my self them yankee son of a guns said in them there history books that the rebs had slves as black soldiers im sick of this stuff i say that we take back our rights to be in the history books and i say we do it in memorie of virginia as all of us are rebs and yankees so we all have the rights to the history books

  • This video is horse poopy. It was illegal for blacks to serve in the confederate army and that's verifiable fact. Some may have served in some state milita units, others served their masters as slaves and retainers, a very few may have actually fought by twists and turns which doesnt support the claim that blacks fought alongside whites for the confederacy. To believe so is self deception.

  • @emintey There are entire books of documenting such. The orders to not allow blacks in the ranks of the military was largely ignored, many received promotions and ranked quite well in the confederacy. Nor did the order last long, they needed numbers.. While the Union soldiers came down, murdering civilians on levels never before seen in western warfare, including those they claimed to be liberating. There are thousands of well documented instances of free black men serving in the CSA military.

  • @mugelerm That's just nonsense. But believe what you want, there is no credible documentation to support your claims, the evidence and documentation is to the contrary, but I'm sick and tired of trying to argue nwith people who make up their minds by reading some BS and ignoring credible facts and true scholarship. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, it's a shame so many do.

  • @emintey It is not just nonsense. It is a fact, there are at least 1000 in Virginia pension records alone, as combat troops. POW camps have records of such, as do official federal documents. Sorry but simply claiming that there weren't despite the fact the Federal Governments own documentation has such evidence, along with many union POWs who guarded over by black confederate soldiers during the war.

  • @emintey Also during the war, blacks were reportedly not allowed to own property or houses also...that gave the union soldiers all the right(in their minds) to steal whatever they found fit belonging to blacks in the south, including their seed grain and methods of food production, which in agrarian society was a death sentence. Please remember the victor writes history, and the south is still taught as an enemy, and continual demonetization to benefit central government will continue.

  • @emintey Sorry for so many messages, limits in characters make it difficult. Also remember that the army was made up of state militias. State power was more respected then the central power, therefore what the state militia wanted, is usually what happened. If they wanted to do something against the will of the Davis himself, they would.

  • Have you people ever heard of the murder of Emmett Till? If you want to see the face of Southern culture, look no further.

  • The video only shows that a few "free" blacks enlisted in the reb army. It does not tell why they did so. The "free" blacks were not very educated, so they could be goaded to do and believe whatever the dixies told them. The TRUTH was that DIXIE was a RACIST and SLAVERY DEFENDANT society.

These "free" blacks fighting for "Freedom" were like the enslaved ants captured when they were young by ant-slaver-ants, and who later serve their masters attacking their own species.

  • @powerdriller10 and the truth is the NORTH ignored the founding documents that built this country its so great now huh we are trillions of dollars in debt cause your side won we are in many unconstiutional wars because your side won way to go jackass

  • @powerdriller10 also dont forget that the north owned slaves until the civil war and that america established the slavery institute not the CONFEDERATES but you sound like the type of person that is a democrat funny thing being is that democrats was the party that supported slavery and segregation haha you yankees are retarded to historical facts

  • "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery - the greatest material interest of the world. Its labor supplies the product, which constitutes by far the largest and most important portions of commerce of the earth ... A blow at slavery is a blow at commerce and civilization."

    -Mississippi Declaration of Secession

  • Wow this was eye opening after all that propaganda. It is great to know that free blacks fought for "states rights." It is so great that you honored their service with oh, lynchings, the klan, and Jim Crow. Things didn't improve until the supreme court ended that institution. I'm so happy to hear that you all don't like slavery, a pity your ancestors fought so hard to keep it. Oh don't get me wrong there were other rights too, but there were also plans to expand slavery if they won. Nice work

  • @NJburbsSeeker Congress ended slavery with the 13th amendment. If the Union just abolished slavery, then Jim Crow laws and the klan would never have existed. Those came out of the fact that during Reconstruction Confeds weren't allowed to vote, and blacks, carpet baggers, and scalawags took control of the Southern government until 1877 when Rutherford B. Hayes was elected president on the grounds that all federal troops leave the South once and for all.

  • @Brynnium Right the Union's fault as always

  • Only a fucking yank pussy would talk shit from the safety of there computer. here soon you will see the error of the union, you should already but yanks are stupid. our rights are being taken from us and the gov. is going to in slave all of us. open your eyes and look around, read a paper you will see. they put there dirty Yankee hands on everything and plan on destroying their own people.

  • Your own leaders said what the reasons were - they issued their own ULtimatums about it.

Got that dumb fuck? Your own leaders, speaking AT THE TIME. Their demand?

One thing - the SPREAD of slavery. That was their demand. The SPREAD of slavery against the wishes of the people and states involved.

No other demand. That was their demand. That was their goal. That was ther reason for all this shit.

They got their ass kicked, and like pussies, changed their excuse.

  • .

Go read the South's insane Ultimatums -- by Southern leaders. Southern leaders bragged it was about the SPREAD of slavery at the start.

But then they got their dicks shoved up their ass, and had to get a different excuse. So they ran from what they said before, and like pussies always do, made up stories.

You fucks have made up stories about your cowardice and loss too. Thats all you fucks are -- an excuse factory. Pussies then, pussies now.

  • hungry stupid fuck -- yeah, you pussies changed your excuse when you got your ass kicked.

But when you fucks were torturing women and selling children at the start of the shit , your leaders were bragging it was about the SPREAD of slavery.

That's what they said you stupid fuck -- are your cock sucking leaders liars? Or just cock sucking cowards who tortured women and molested children?

Funny how you pussies ran from real men. Funny how over 3/4 of your soldiers ran on your own ground

  • THIS VIDEO IS A MYTH, A RATHER RECENT MYTH, TOLD BY THE SAME PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE BLACKS WHEN CONTROLLED BY THE SOUTH "KNEW THEIR PLACE" AND RACE RELATIONS WERE FINE. THE SOUTHERNERS WANT TO SHOW YOU HOW FRIENDLY AND DOCILE THE NEGRO WAS UNDER THEIR WHIPS. I LIVED IN AN EXTREME RACIST AREA IN THE SOUTH AND KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MANY OF THESE ARGUMENTS WITH NO HISTORICAL BASIS ARE TOLD BY THE KKK TO DOWN PLAY THE HORRORS OF SLAVERY AND TO SHOW THE NORTH HOW "GOOD" A NEGRO CAN BE UNDER THEIR CONTROL

  • This is a myth. Black soldiers were banned from fighting until the south had just about lost the war in 1865. Matter of fact, General Lee said "it would disgust and revolt the whole south" if the blacks were to take up arms. Free blacks were unable to join the confederate army by documented law. Diaries, letters, and documents show that in a last ditch effort Gen. Lee armed black slaves. The DOCUMENTED thought in the south at this time was that blacks were not truly human but half animal.

  • @jrmsher33 6 Confederate states expressly allowed Blacks to serve in their ranks and many officers in the field for those other states were not going to wait for their politicians to see reason so they gladly accepted into their ranks any man white or black (or Indian) who would fight to defend Dixie. The evidence is there whether pictures or letters or newspaper columns or even US army reports. Frederick Douglas even said there were many black Confederates fighting against the federals.

  • i love my home nd heritage cuz i no of the first Louisiana infantry an all african american regiment who willingly enlisted to protect their homes nd jobs

  • @pmack169 Don't be so angry about all this.

Everyone in the world knows that blacks have been lynched on occasions as far North as Minnesota decades after the ACW. Abolition of slavery was a result, not the ambition.

The ambition was to build the industrial then financial super power the US have became since then.

Has respect come from this ?

    No, hypocrisy never earns respect.

  • evidence?

  • Free Scotland!

    Free Dixieland!

  • Really loved this video! After seeing this video, you opened my eyes even more, in the believe that the south will rise again, and that the union will pay dearly for what propaganda they have served the people after the war. I still believe that The Confederate flag has nothing to with hate and everything to do with a proud Southern History! And THAT I will keep on doing until I die. I salute you. Cheer's form Norway.

  • AWSOME!!!

    I LOVED IT!!!

TO LIVE OR DIE FOR DIXIE!!!

  • i can not upload this to Facebook as it has been declared offensive and spam.

Try it. You can protest to facebook when you try to upload it.

    FIGHT

  • Bravo! This is all Southern Facts! Not Union Fiction! Member of SCV Camp #1525, SWCWA, and ACWC. Keep up the good work, spreading the TRUTH!

  • black ppl have no allies

  • the war on the south was not about race

  • It's time people knew the truth. Good job. The Yankee Goverment is no different today than it was then. Lies upon lies. It simple folks, look at what they did to the indians here. All one has to do is question the system we have today. The goverment is all about control. That is what the South was fighting.

  • 2:13 I am very skeptical of this whole 'black Confederate" thing. However, this picture looks very convincing. Still, I'd like to know if this picture is photoshopped or not. If it is...well, damn it. If not, I will give my undying support to all Southrons against the Politically Correct. For what it's worth: I'm from the North (Michigan), and I think that Lincoln was a bastard. He had no constitutional authority to strengthen the Federal Government.

  • @Timisweird Frederick Douglas wrote a letter to Abraham Lincoln in 1862 stating that "many blacks serve in the Confederate Army as "real soldiers having muskets on their shoulders and bullets in their pockets, ready to shoot down and do all that soldiers may do to destroy the Federal government." in an effort to get him to induct black soldiers into the union army. The evidence that many thousands of blacks served in the Confederate army is overwhelming.

  • My question is why were there too much racist at the much of the first half of the 20th century on the southern states ?

  • "Black is just another shade of Confederate Gray"! Great quote and awesome video, one of the best on the topic I've seen... Keep up the great work!

  • "[...] the assumption of the equality of races [...] was an error. Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery - subordination to the superior race - is his natural and normal condition."

--vice president of CSA Alexander Stevens.

You 'wrote death to traitors' in your video.

You,CSA supporters are not only vile white supremacists. You ARE TRAITORS.

  • Im a proud Jewish southerner and i would fight for the confederacy

  • @looktospaceandsee Several thousand Jews did gallantly fight for the South including Abraham Charles Myers who served as Quartermaster general of the Confederate Army and Dr. David Camden DeLeon was the Surgeon General of the Confederate army. The ONLY Jewish military cemetery in the world outside of Israel? Shockoe Confederate Hebrew Cemetery in Richmond Virginia. The first Jewish cabinet member in North America? Judah Benjamin CSA. First Jewish Senator? David Levy Yulee, Florida.

  • Truth hurts ppl who are closed minded and brain washed. Viva los Confederados!

  • This has got to be one of the most ignorant videos ever. Free or not if you were born into or free from slavery you would not know there is something better on the other side. You would be brainwashed either to fight for what you have if free or to fight for your "master' if you loved him or not. This is sentimental , ignorant , deloutions , of white superiority hoping the south will rise again, yet it never will in that form ever again!!! Black confederate? Dave chappelle covered this already!

  • @caddy1010 Jack-booted Tyrant!

  • i am black and white mixed i always say the best of both worlds but we need a new revoltion here n america and i would fight for the confeds anyday i believe in the confeds cuz they believed n less goverment although not slavery but it would be better than this piece of shxt america we live in today im black and white and im proud to be a southerner we got the best food to! lol long live the confeds

  • I'm Asian and I would fight for the Confederacy any day.

  • @swagmanswaggn Am I understanding you right? " i believe in the confeds cuz they believed n less goverment although not slavery but it would be better than this piece of shxt america we live in today " you are saying slavery would be better than what we have today? You said NOT slavery "BUT" it would be better than today. Please tell me Im reading that wrong!

  • @caddy1010 Slavery has 1 thing going for it. You KNOW you will get food and a place to sleep. I don't know if I am going to have a house at the end of this month, much less food.

I do not support the idea of slavery, this is just a fact.

  • @TheBoberton If your children and wife/husband couldn't be sold, that would be even nicer.

Actually, not far from what people in communist countries experienced = no belonging to themselves but the state, no right to amass property, etc...

  • @swagmanswaggn u should make a video!

  • The truth hurts you yanks doesn't it?

  • One of the proofs of Confederate villainy was that they had armed black soldiers in the ranks with whites, allowing them to sit with the white soldiers and even eat from the same cooking pot. The Northern soldiers were scandalized.

My family fought in both Wars of Secession; under the Continental Congress against the British and under Johnston against the Yankees. We try to remember our history.

  • I respect the effort, but this is a bore. I figured out the union is a bunch of bullshit a long time ago. Here's a clue: "racism" is a term coined by Wladimir Lenin

  • Wow...

It's a strange feeling, having your preconceived notions shattered. It's happened to me before, more than once, but I've yet to really get used to it. I don't think I ever will.

Thank you very much for enlightening me on this, Sir. I really need to reevaluate my stance on my homeland's past.

Greetings from the Heart of Dixie, by the way.

  • if they were not slaves they probaly own some or were told they would own some.

  • The host states that the Civil War "ended", what about those men who fought it? The black Confederates weren`t fighting for the enslavement of their own kind, but for the favor of impressing their white idols. And for the idiot host to state that the white Confederate weren`t alone in their wickedness of pro slavery is just ignorant. I`m glad that the Union soldiers shot every black Confederate dead on the spot, regardless if they were a prisoner of war or even wounded, good job yankees.

  • @craigblast hopefully they'll do the same for yer rotten bones someday.

  • it was for a mix of reasons. they fought for fear, out of being threatened, and for home land pride, and to fight for their loved ones, and to stop an invasion. i would have hoped the south would have won and abolished slavery. surely confederates did not fight for slavery alone.

  • The logic of this is just as flawed as the alleged propaganda of the Northern side. You seem to only accept they fought for the glory of the south and for home and southernpatriotism. You ignore the consequence free blacks would suffer if they in anyway appeared pro-union.They likely fought for the south for a mixture of reasons. The biggest being uplift by LOOKING loyal. Better to look loyal and betray your own lowly race than to appear pro-union in the eyes of your racial superiors. Be fair!

  • To circlecityrabbit2004, You claim that there were African-American Confederate soldiers present at nearly every major engagement of the Civil War. What source provided you with this information. It is quite a bold claim and I would be interested in exploring it further.

  • The Civil War began when the southern states led by South Carolina left the Union. This war was fought over preservation of this Union.

  • mat SC left the Union, and linocoln wasnt even in office idiot. Only when South started using violence did Lincoln start enforcing the law. So it started over SC violence -- and while putting down the insurection, Lincoln and others made sure slavery ended too.

  • what are you calling me an idiot for? i never mentioned lincoln? The point of no return for war was when SC left the union. Until then war may have been avoided, but that was the last straw. Lincoln did start to put pressure on the south when they used violence in an attempt to fully leave the Union.

  • What on earth do you think I am saying? I never mentioned Lincoln being in office before SC succession. I know that SC left after his election, but prior to inauguration. Everything I have said is in concurrence with what you have said, what are you calling me a "fucking idiot" for? I said Lincoln began to fight the south after they used violence, I said this and you then said the same thing and called me a "dumb fuck." What are you talking about?

  • Just ignore the retard and vote him down.

  • niggers

  • Interesting stuff. History shows that a victory for the North/Union was for the better. If the south would have won the war, things would have taken much longer to change.

  • And yet I've had people e-mail me to say that slavery was "not that bad" for blacks and that most of the "n-----s" were "treated like family." Still a lot of sick fucks out there defending slavery and slurping the racist assholes who perpetrated it.

  • its lucky for the South that the North won. Slavery was destroying the South.

Mostly the slaves were too numerous -- in 1776, there was one slave for every 10 whites. But by 1860, there was 1 slave for every 2 whites in the South, and in 20 years the blacks would have outnumbered whites.

There would have been massive race wars in the south if the South had won.

  • Did Crispus Attucks & the thousands of others like him have slaves there BeetleJuice12?

First imported slaves in America were White

read Michael Hoffman's book "They were White And they were Slaves"

  • who the fuck cares which color the first slaves were you retard? What the fuck difference does it make -- but they were of color moron. Columbus -- rememb Chris? -- picked up slaves on his second voyage.

Whoever fucking started it moron, the Confederacy was the first nation on earth to be BASED -- FOUNDED -- on it dumb fuck. That's the point you fucking lunatic.

  • Hey there 12FlyMeBeetleJuice,

Did Crispus Attucks & others of color like him own slaves?

Karl marx & Lincoln were penpals & thousand of the notorious 48ers join the MarxistFederals to help them win the first successful Marxist revolution of the 19th century

    Got that dumb fuck

Your new nickname is 12FlyMeBeetleJuice you lunatic

How was your turkey dinner in the aslyum dumb fuck?

  • @12FlyMe What ridiculous crap. Slavery was dying either way and good riddance. Slavery died out in over 2 dozen western countries over the course of the 19th century. Had Dixie gained her independence it would have died out there too and quickly.

  • @hungarygator You are one dog shit eating moron.

The SOuthern leaders said why the fought the civil war dumb fuck. At the time, they said it.

Go read the Southern leaders own Ultimatums, you retard. Ultimatums that Southern newspapers announced these Ultimatums as "THE TRUE ISSUE".

All five SOuthern Ultimatums were about the same thing -- THE SPREAD OF SLAVERY.

Google Southern Ultimatums you fucking retard.

  • @12FlyMe Go read the declarations of the causes of secession dumbfuck. There are several other reasons listed moron. Read the Cherokee nation's declaration of causes you fucking idiot. Read contemporary newspaper editorials North, South and foreign dumbfuck..

  • @hun dumb fuck, I did read the declartions -- they ALL said slavery.

I read the Southern ULtimatums (you did not). The ALL said the SPREAD of slavery -- and nothing else.

IN the five Southern ULtimatums, there was only ONE issue. The SPREAD of slavery -- by force, against the wishes of the people and states

Got that retard? The Southern ULtimatums - issued in March of 1861, proclaimed in Southern newspapers as "THE TRUE ISSUE" -- all about the SPREAD of slavery.

  • @12FlyMe Dumbfuck, Georgia and Texas go on at length about the Money and the power grab by Washington...as does the Cherokee declaration. You obviously haven't read many northern newspapers at the time nor foreign newspapers nor even many Southern newspaper editorials. It was ALL about Washington's quest for empire and for Northeastern industrialists, all about money dumbfuck.

  • @hungarygator Sorry dummb fuck, the South Carolina document doesnt EVEN MENTION the tariff retard.

You think they FORGOT? You think they wrote their big reason for the war, and FORGOT to mention what it was all about? And only mentioned slavery?

You think the Southern leaders FORGOT, when they issued Five Ultimatums, retard, and just mentioned the SPREAD of slavery as their ONLY demand?

    What a stupid fuck,

GO read the Southern Ultimatums, you dog shit eating moron.

  • @12FlyMe Dumbfuck I never said the South Carolina declaration did. Can't you read? I said specifically Georgia and Texas mentioned that as did the Cherokee declaration. With fewer states and fewer people they knew they had no chance of not getting taxed to death (see the Morrill Tariff) if they stayed in. Try doing some actual reading before you open your ignorant cum dumpster again.

  • @hungryfordick -- South Carolina was first to secede, and the fuckers didn't EVEN MENTION the tariff.

Do you think they FORGOT? They mentioned slavery about 800 times.

The Southern leaders in Montgomery issued 5 Ultimatums -- ALL FIVE of their ultimatums demanded ONE THING -- the SPREAD of slavery.

Got that you retard? These fuckers were screaming demands to SPREAD slavery from the rooftops.

Later, when you pussies lost, you cried like babies and changed your excuse.

  • @12FlyMe I see you don't even want to talk about the Georgia or Texas or Cherokee declarations. What a shock! Nor do you even want to mention all the newspaper editorials from Northern and Southern and foreign Newspapers saying it was driven by tariffs and economic policies....nor do you want to talk about all the statements from various people including Lincoln that it was driven by tariffs. Surprise Surprise asshole, never would have guessed you'd try that one.

  • @hungarygator No dumb fuck, there are not a bunch of newspapers that say it's tariff related.

In fact, Jefferson Davis specifically said -- it had nothing to do with tariff. What better source do you want? Your own Southern leaders said what their FIVE Ultimatums were -- all five were about the SPREAD of slavery. That came from your SOUTHERN LEADERS. Your Southern newspapers announced these five ultimatums with great fanfare -- THE TRUE ISSUE the called it.

  • Thank you circlecity for this video, this is a stepping stone in my own re education regarding the contributions of almost unheard of Confederate blacks in the American civil war,as i am now one of the very few who are realising the truth of this matter.

    from the United Kingdom-Best wishes.

  • No problem at all, just tryin to do my part for Dixie, thank you for watching.

It's ridiculous that the deeds of these brave men have gone almost unheard of until recent times. It's about time that groups like the naacp acknowledge these men for the heroes they were instead of trampling their memory by painting all Southrons as racist slave owners.

Sadly alot of people still believe the union propaganda, glad to hear you're not one of them, spread the truth man, and greetings from ol' Florida!

  • thanks for the vids and i liked civil war journel it wasnt a bad series but a better one was unknown battles and missions of the civilwar or something like that cuz it talks bout camp douglas the battle of the crater etc. and middle and high school sucks college is better to learn history ever read confederates in the attic?

  • @circlecityrabbit2004 I feel bad for Florida it has nearly been consumed by Yankees.

  • @Luigi84289 Woah! hold on there hoss! That's not the case at all. Greater Miami has been but I would say central Florida is still Southern and North Florida ie. Daytona, Jacksonville and the whole panhandle is as Southern as it gets. I'm a North Floridian myself. Lynard Skynard, Ray Charles, 38 special, Blackfoot, etc all from north Florida. 2 of the biggest high schools in Jax are Lee and Forrest.

  • @drfan2004 The black and white races in the south were very close until the current 2 generations. My mother grew up in northern Alabama and had a black housemaid. She was very close to the whole family and still is. We all go down to see her whenever we go. She's near 100 now. We used to be really united, now the country is on the brink of destruction.

  • @Luigi84289 Wow!!,thanks for sharing that fact with me,that is amazing!!!.Ive always believed the best Americans(of any race) to be among the erstwhile and sincere southerners, you have made me realised why that is a valid belief. Thanks again!!!

What's the origin of the pretty confederate flag? is it Scottish?

  • It's kind of hard to imagine BLACK Confederate soldiers fighting against the North (who wanted to end slavery)

  • The records are there, union records of black Confederates. And as far as the north wanting to end slavery, that was only a cause to improve troop morale. If they really wanted to end slavery then why did Lincoln wait until after 2 years of war to make the emancipation proclamation. It couldn't be that he wanted to wait for the approval of congress, after all he had already assembled the armies for war, acquired the funds for war, and declared war all without the approval of congress.

  • Yeah I once thought the same thing too. Then I did independent study on the issue, visited the graves of these black confederates and read of their individual accounts, and its quite eye opening. The lessons are that things are not always a matter of right and wrong, black and white. There is no such thing as one righteous side and one evil side in a war.

  • @BroadCastTuber The war itself was ending slavery. The 2 unions would never be the same regardless of who won. If the south had won slavery would have ended or been on it's last legs as well. You can't tell veterans who have fought for their country to just suddenly go back and worldwide pressure would have forced an end.

  • 200,000 blacks fought -- for the Union dumb fuck.

25% of the WHITE Union soldiers were fromm slave states dumb fuck.

The Confederacy was despised by many in the SOUTH dumb fuck -- why didn't they teach your dumb ass that?? The South lost dumb fuck when so many soldiers deserted - Lee shit his pants, cried and surrendered. Notice HE didnt fucking risk his slave raping ass.

  • The slaves that did fight dumb fuck -- didn't fight for the SOUTH anyway you inbred retard.

They were promised FREEDOM if they fought dumb fuck. Got that retard? They didnt fight for the South anyway-- they fought cause their slave raping child selling masters promised them FREEDOM you fucking idiot.

  • Since you dumb fuckers called anyone a nigger than had any drop of black blood --- you dont have a fucking CLUE how dark your made up "Black slave owners" were you fucking idiot.

Hard telling if some drunk ass slave raper left his estate to some of his nigger kids after he raped their mother. Go find out the details dumb fuck -- get back to me.

  • Plus dumb fuck -- read the documents from the WHITE soldiers when they saw the slaves. They shit their pants dumb fuck- - they deserted. They said fuck it -- what the fuck -- if niggers can be soldiers than thiswhole war was wrong, our whole COnfederacy was wrong.

Got that dumb fuck -- read the WHITE sholdiers reaction -- desertions and disgust dumb fuck. Learn the whole story dumb fuck, not your lunatic distortions.

  • Some slaves --- on promise of being freed you dumb fuck -- did fight for the south. The South was getting their fucking asses kicked -- the leaders thought they were going to be captured, like the German leaders -- the leaders were desperated dumb fuck.

Bu tthat was late in the war - the last two weeks dumb fuck

  • Slaves fought for the South my ass -- at the end, the last week -- after it was over --the leaders were so desperate to not be taken prisoner (like hitler 90 years later) they offered blacks freedom to help them.

The whites were deserting -- and when they saw the blacks -- almost all the whites deserted. That's what ended the war dumb fuck -- whites just quit fighting. Many deserted.

  • Now the lunatics start again with that "oh the niggras fought for the South"

Bull fucking shit moron. You fucking lunatics had to BURN BLACKS TO DEATH that rebelled dumb fuck. How come you fucking lunatics had to burn blacks to death who rebelled against slavery, if they LIKED slavery dumb fuck?

Why all the fucking laws against run away slaves dumb fuck -- if the slaves weren't running away you fucking moron.
