  • Is this one helluva song of what? So good!

  • my mom got me into queensryche and all growing up they were always played operation mind crime is still my fav album... thanks mom... and thanks too all the heavy metal moms who got there kids into this.. 2nd generation metal head and proud of it... the 80s were lucky.. the metal was great and long hair was so in!!!!

  • Going to see the ryche tommorow

  • guitar hero 6 is the reason im watchin this. its in the game and i like the song

  • @nickhaze1, that's cool, good to know you didn't miss out on Queensryche. Make sure you check out Queensryche's other great songs too, which is pretty much everything of theirs. I'm an old lady now, but when and if the day comes that Guitar Hero or Rock Band puts Operation: Mindcrime or QR's Greatest Hits on their system, I will give in and buy the works, and woe to those who think they will beat me. lol ; ) RYCHE ON!

  • God I loved their sound. Why can't there be music like this today?

  • the band played on and i remember when they first came to life....love going back and watching these videos of yet another awesome band

    j-mac

  • saw them in concert in the 90s awesome

  • here's to 25 yrs boys wooo hooo cheers

  • love it :D

  • One of the best bands all time.

  • Sweetness

  • When i was a year old back in "91" me and my parents went on our first vacation to Myrtle Beach in SC and there was a place that did like videos and stuff and we made a music video to this song, we still got it laying around the house somewhere, thumbs up for last 20 years of rockin out with Queensryche

  • looks like 21 people have no testicles

  • my favorite album would be Operation Mind crime 1 Empire would be number 2 this song is the best on Empire.

  • Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime

    Best album in the world!

  • Guitar hero 6 beatch cant wait.

  • DAMN, that was GOOD!

  • Simply CLASSIC tune,,, awesome

  • They are a very good band. Very underated.

  • i wouldnt call this heavy...i didnt even back in the day when i listened to ryche.....but its 10000x better than the shit that gets air time these days.

  • The 20 people who pushed dislike rather listen to Justin Beaver (Bieber xD).

  • i wore my dads Queensryche cd out because of a few songs on there this is one of the best german bands woooooooooo go germans you guys rock

  • @MrBluedevil0913 They're from Seattle man.

  • GH:WOR FTW!

  • joe elliot of def lepard said geoff tate disgusted him because his voice was so perfect it usually took only 1-2 takes for him to get the voice tracks right whereas elliot's sessions resembled a marathon. sounds about right to me.what a voice.

  • @jr55ful I can believe that, Geoff Tate could be an opera singer, because of the quality of his voice. Thank God he became a hard rocker. I regret never seeing them in concert!

  • @1falconeye2 uhh wha ?? he studied under Pavarati (spelling)

  • @1falconeye2 shit i have seen them in concert, flagstaff arizona baby. it was outdoors and perfect outside. i think they played just a little better than usual that day, either that or the beer was hitting just rite cuz it was awesome!

  • @1falconeye2

seen him twice in 3 yrs and he still got it!... just wish the rest of the band was still together

  • @Klanshu, Hi, not sure what you are stating here. Did you see Geoff on a solo tour, maybe? Because the core of the band (Wilton, Rockenfield, Jackson) have always been by Geoff's side since QR's inception with the exception of Chris DeGarmo who left sometime in the 90's. QR brings in a new guitarest every now and then to fill that void (which to hardcore QR fans, will never happen, unless it's actually DeGarmo). Such a shame that Whip, Scott, & Eddie get overlooked for their talents. RYCHE ON!

  • that audience noise is too gay...fuck that, that ain't queensryche.

  • i know this was just a music video but i would of loved to be in that studio audience

  • mein...They were awesome in concert! Just as clear and crisp as their recordings! Unlike most bands live! I wish I could go back in time! But hey- there are some great bands out there now, just not in mainstream, gotta really search them out.

  • One of the best live shows I've ever seen.

  • not bad, I actually like this song. but really like some Zepplin, Queen, Bob Seger. I too, tire of politics in my music. Music should be fun! An outlet! But hey, different is good.:)

  • This whole album rocks!

  • Actually, I think Empire is better as well as Queen of the Riech

  • Justin Beiber, Hannah Montana, Jonas Fagsters, and Big Time Rush fuck you all! This is real music, and justin beiber you sound like a 6 year old girl.

  • @Tatertoot9 well said.. dream theater is my favorite :) this is also awesome

  • ehh, don't know why, but Queensryche always bored the hell out of me.... I think it has to do with them trying to make political statements with their songs. Always found that incredibly lame.

  • @c0deMunkey political rock really does make for some boring/very irritating music ala green day, system of a down, u2, REM

  • wich is better, empire or operation?

  • both!

empire for sounds and operation for lyrics!

  • Ah Seattle, my home and the number one place and home of GOOD! music

  • Todays candy ass music sucks! Queensryche owns.................

  • Jet city WOOOOMAN! (Sorry, couldn't resist)

This song can be described with five words - This. Is. The. Song. Period.

I hate to sound like a geezer, but it's true what some of you said - these days people don't make music the way they used to. It's sad really.

  • Its sad that some singers cant even hit these notes and there famous.I wanna give a shout out to the jonas fags and hannah montana for fucking up the music industry.

  • @truthsayer I saw that same tour. 1989 And Justice For All and Operation Mindcrime.. Was fucking killer...

  • I will never forget this era of music!!!!!Seen Queensryche in Rapid City S.D.

  • @randy6335 ...yea bro that era is defiantly gone but never to be forgotten..the new music today just does not have the same effect or WOW like the mid 80's early 90's metal or any of that era's music for that matter... I am 38 now and every time an old memory of a great party or good time comes flashing back it is either triggered by or I can remember a bad ass tune that goes with it

  • i seen these guys LIVE in Austin Texas when i was 17 years old...they opened for Metalica...those where the dayze ...unfortunately due to pharmaceutical overload I don't remember all the concert...but I know I had fun !!!!!!!!!! (my girlfriend told me the next day)

  • jet city woman, queensryche rules!!!!

  • I met Wilton last night. :o

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow whats song

  • This is music

  • never was into this band but good tune...

  • Best Concert that I have ever seen! Empire Tour!

  • Guitar is so awesome in this song.

  • im late with my birth for a decade at least....music of the 70's and 80's has always been my favorite....including other genres as well.....But throughout my highschool i listened bands like Queensryche,Dream Theater,Skid Raw, etc......

  • When are you people going to ever wake up and understand that the MAN controls everything! Just like Jack Black says in the School of Rock.... Rock was created to protest the MAN to stick it to the MAN where it don't shine. Of course the MAN has now unfortunately learned how to exploit and make money off it, but, that's what the MAN does.

  • No one can touch Rush!

  • Beautiful ballad!!!! If you've ever been in love you can understand the longing in this song. Everything done perfectly in this one!!! Geoff Tate ROCKS!!!!

  • 80s Music is it. This garbage nowaday has no reason to have airplay/

  • i love this band my favourite 80s band

  • awsome!!!!

  • Wow this song brings back memories. You can sense the excitement in her returning. That's one reason I love Queensryche so much, Just the feeling you get from their lyrics and music.

  • I don't think this band ever made a bad song.

  • good song

  • I love Queensryche.....

ha ha, although my dad meat Geoff Tate and apparently he was a ass whole XD

  • a truely tremendous piece of music. the whole album rocked!

  • real music...FINALLY we love you Queensryche i just wish

  • Likeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • okay ladies ... how about the video.. is good ,the music is great ,the lyrics are what I would write if i could,,a group that has surpassed sooo many genres...

  • Can you say, "The Real Deal!"?

  • I grew up with this! I love it so damn much. I am sad the Seattle scene is dead,

  • george lynch is da shiiiiiet!!! i bet his voice got him more ass than a toilet seat

  • @sheshell88 do you mean Geoff Tate?..... George Lynch is ex guitarist for Dokken and current Lynch Mob Guitarist

  • Geoff tu es vraiment exceptionnel,j'ai connu une fantastique histoire d'amour sur cette musique,à bientot en France!

  • Ever since Evanescence ever came out, this asskicking sound is put down!

No heavy drums that actually sound good, guitars that had sustain and a frontsinger with character!!!

  • very powerful

  • Back then I didn't know his name was pronounced Jeff. I insisted to a friend it was pronounced Goe ef, walked around insisting on the wrong pronunciation.

  • I read Geoff Tate was trained as an opera singer, and performed as such before he started playing metal! Interesting....

  • Very powerful GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :)

  • i agree with swamprocker. no doubt one of the best if not the best rock voices ive ever listened to

  • geoff tate's one of the best vocalists from the time wow.. love this song. the bass riff. everythinf

  • always luvd them..amazing voice

  • one of the best rock singers ever.

  • ow ya thare from kirkland wa

  • Right on, with the Right ON!

  • one of my favorite metal bands!

  • Fantastici, epici Queensryche!

  • Great time to like heavy metal in the 80's. What they play now is crappola!!!

  • i freakin' love queensrÿche & this song is ahhmazing*(:

    <3.

  • people complaining why music aint good. well start a god damn band and try to make the change.

  • well if i could play the damn bass or guitar and were good at making lyrics and riffs i would :D but i cant :((((((((((((((((

  • Time for some blue skies.....

  • @meinschatzie

There's still music with meaning. It only seems you are listening to things that are widely known after some years, music and bands that have become common knowledge, classic, known anyway. That's a proccess that takes time. You can always SEARCH for stuff that are in their beginning. Music is still alive. Some of you guys though aren't...

  • Mr Brown Can Moo...Can U MOO like Mr Brown Can do ? xoxoxo

  • #VIDUPLOADERID# -next time tell people where you can get this song. i download mine from tubemusicdownload com personally.

  • The music industry is controlled by the marketing people. If your arse looks good enough, can hum a tune that can be sampled, then you'll have a contract,no talent required! If the said arse is big enough, they may throw a few stickers on it and put it on tv. Real music as we know it lives on in Youtube and in our memories. Long live QUEENSRYCHE!

  • I couldn't agree more.... Lots of no talent smucks on the airwaves. One problem with you analysis is that good as they are Queensryche was a product of that corpoarate music industry..... one of the few gems to survive the "bean counters".

  • @suspensiondude u couldnt bre more right !

  • i wish i could have lived when music had meaning instead of talkin about fucking bitches and smackin hoes.gah.music is horrible nowadays and its like you cant do anything about it!!! lady gaygay and fall out of the chair, faggot suck fish booty!!!! i wish i could've lived in my moms and dads generation and grow up in the 80's.mannnnnn,i bet they were good in concert though.i'd kill to see the :)

  • @meinschatzie my dad saw these guys live a couple of times. But if i could go to anyplace in time, i would go to Woodstock 1969 and then Woodstock 1994

  • @meinschatzie Instead of bitchin' about how music sucks, we can all learn how to play guitar/bass/drums and revive the great music! You know, when you talk about those pop suckers, you're actually spreading the word about 'em. I haven't heard about Justin Bieber until like everyone mentioned how crappy he is, same with Lady Gaga, FallOut boy etc... Just don't give a fuck and focus on true music, we will win! ;)

  • Finally get to this them come Feb 13th.. Can't wait...

  • GOD WILL BE !

  • I'm from seattle, and i can vouch that music still lives here, but you can't expect to find it if you're looking at album covers at wal-mart.

  • reply to PsuedoNam I was in my twenties in the seventies and don't forget Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, CCR just to mention a few

  • Im very close to satan

  • And one day you'll actuaccly impress someone.

Stop being the person that peron!

  • that's so random and contrived to piss people off that I can't stop laughing...as I'm sure you are too.

  • I'm very close to Seattle. Nothing unique has come from here lately. Hendrix was original - Kobane was not the best, just found on more stages and back alleys.

  • @Kahnivorous Meh unfortunately Seattle is no longer the hub for music. You can thank those corporate assholes who try to pass people like Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga as real music. Its sad really, I wish I could have grown up in the 70's and 80's so I wouldn't have to be ear raped by today's music. Long live Queensryche, ACDC, Nirvana, ZZ Top, Queen, and all the other geniuses who TRULY revolutionized music.

  • amen to that

  • @PsuedoNam You speak the truth!!!

  • @PsuedoNam you re so right bro !!!

  • @PsuedoNam Well you are right mate.

I agree. The thing is this music now a days is made by using computer soft were and there is not as much skill involved in it any more.

    Truth is this

That playing an instrument and making a tune on that is million time harder and requires true skill than making music like a DJ does.

The one who goes to jail or got no job and walks the streets like a bum become a fucking rapper.

Name one rapper with a true good personality so far i have not seen one.

  • @USMANchampNO1 ...Um, Will Smith.

  • @USMANchampNO1 Society always worked like this. Let them enjoy crap music and favor dumb idols. Everyone gets what he/she deserves really!! As for all the QR fans we have to thank them for their contribution to music.

  • @USMANchampNO1 Because the rapper/gangsta of today, has not soul. No love of music, only bling. Tasteless bunch of felons.

  • @PsuedoNam hey bro you forgot Metallica Megadeth and Pantera lol

  • @PsuedoNam

I did grow up in the 70's/80's and your 100% right it's all studio crap more or less and the more whorish you look/act the more corporate music will spend to make you a hit. Do have to give props to 3 Doors Down though, they are unbelieveable live. Brad Arnold can tear it up and give you your moneys worth. Probably couple others but agree on Miley Gag.

  • @PsuedoNam I know what you mean. I live in Seattle. The bands here now are horrible.

  • @PsuedoNam growing up in the 70's and 80's was a blast! I hate what corporate assholes and cable news have done to this country. All of the fun is gone, now it's all about money.

  • @PsuedoNam nirvana sucks and they killed music

  • @deraickripper nirvana is fucking amazing. just because they wrote simple music and were popular doesn''t mean that they were a bad band, they played with far more emotion than most bands, and dave grohl is a fucking sick drummer

  • @PsuedoNam i wish i could've too... i am sad to say i was born in 95...

  • @PsuedoNam same here i hate all that gay music

  • @PsuedoNam haha yaaa definatly agreed..

  • @PsuedoNam

And we are glad that we are no longer the hub for music..we never wanted to be in the first place..

Now we can focus on putting out music that we want to..Its nice to be under the radar.

  • @PsuedoNam just to add to your comments,I almost feel sorry for this generation...the music they enjoy today, they hate tomorrow(with good reason),the music we enjoyed 20 years ago we still enjoy...

  • @PsuedoNam Amen, how can they even like that blonde with too much glitter and lizzard lips gaga? Plus: if you like TRUE true music and killer guitar talent: then listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan. I recomend "Life by the drop" video owned by dingo91

  • @PsuedoNam lady gaga is a fucken troll who knows the only way to get notice is to be an outrageous dumb whore

  • @angel2rx My God. She is a complete waste. It annoys me to even see her. She's pitiful.

  • @Kahnivorous If you looking for some new good music out of Seattle, I would suggest trying Duff McKagens new album. "Duff McKagens Loaded"

  • I'm not from seattle, but everything that comes out of that city is unique from everything else

  • just wonder how many strippers favorite song this is

  • damn black & white was popular back then

  • kick ass song!!!!!

  • Thanks for this awesome upload! Missed this song!

  • I miss Seattle I hope I can die in the city that I was born!

  • echos in my head like a dream...

  • the guitar melody.

    awesome

  • Yer man there must go the same barber as Billy Ray Cyrus.

  • i i i jus love this song, cool music!!!!!!!!!!

  • jet city woman lives on somewhere over the rainbow!

  • the girls in my favorite "go-go bar" use to play this frequently on the jukebox, and really crank-up hot to this song...

to bad the gov was scandalized by this bar when she came into AC Intl Airport one day (they had a big sign on the roof of the bar at the airport circle...and...and...now the bar is a restaurant called Christi's... named after the ex-gov I'm sure...anyway, that's where I first heard it about ten years ago... man, those girls could really crank up to it...

    flashrob

  • this is the jammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • I just love this song! It rocks!

  • BallsMahonie, now hold up. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE Queensryche, I own every album, but I gotta hand it to dream theater, They have coverd just about every song there is, and they almost do it better then the original version. Still Queensryche has all of the song that hold the best messages and meanings. Dream theater is like, They hold the best musicianship. Sorry for the spelling. They both kick soo much ass. Peace to all!

  • Chris DeGarmo - fantastic guitarist

  • This whole album is awesome. It is one of probably 3 albums that I can sit down and listen to the whole thing without skipping a track. Awesome music!

  • Its really is a perfect song. Tate's hauntingly beautiful voice which express the passion filled lyrics, stellar guitar work that builds to a heart stopping solo and appropriately pounding rhythm section. Starts slow and builds the listener to a emotional fever pitch. A glorious piece of work.

  • mid to late 80"s one gret song by onr great band!his voice is nothing shy of unique!

  • wow man like fucken wow.i like the way they ramp up to the chorus interesting time shifts

  • when was this song made?

  • this was made like back in late 80's or very early 90's.

  • this may go down as one of the best metal songs. ever.
