Faith without works is DEAD. In Romans 2, Paul is clear that the DOERS of the Law will be justified. Paul also endorses being instructed out of the Law in verse 18. Our eternal salvation is based upon faith in Messiah and repentance from our old ways. We need to observe the fundamentals of the Law to the best of our ability. His blood atones for sins committed in ignorance, as well as for sins that are repented of. But his blood does NOT apply to unrepented sins committed with knowledge.

I never used to know what people meant when they said they talk to god and such experiences. If you ever have problems, surrender to god and he will help you. I like the way this guy preaches. Compared to most preachers I notice, he takes a much more calm and clear approach to delivering his messages. So, while that one preacher is hopping around yelling and trying to get the congregation excited (very annoying IMO) with every other word they say, this guy just chills out and actually SPEAKS.
I have become very negative about physical churches, Charles Stanley has become my pastor and helper. He has impressed me by the way he preaches about current situations and how to deal with them. It is so very tough to live in this hurting world with many evil persons and situations. Brother Stanley seems to always have a recipe (so to speak) for different things....such as anxiety. Dr.Stanley is an interesting speaker. But as a trinitarian, he's way off base on how to baptise. Baptism within the word of God has and will always be in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38-22:16). He alone has all saving and command power (Matt 28:18, Acts 4:12, & Col 3:17). No other way is God's (John 10:9; 14:6). We can obey the baptism of Catholics, but this will never save anyone (Mark 16:16, Matt 7:21-27, Gal 1:6-10). Paul told us baptism by belief saves us (Gal 3:27) as did Peter in 1 Pet 3:21.

and as a matter of fact brainiac, I did have an elective in college entitled " the bible as literature" with a well known biblical scholar as the main lecturer. I found its violence as well as the unresolved conflicts in the gospels of mark, john and luke most interesting.
@perfectbark Even better. In this I am assured you've become well aware the bible is a time period of events both happening and to come. Events triggered by the release of darkness, brought about by the disobedience of man. A disobedience breathing life into a Fallen Angel who feeds off of the weakness found in the flesh. So seeing as though the bible is filled with beings made up of this flesh, we could expect this beings imprint to be present. Can it be these conflicts remain ongoing?
@perfectbark I actually don't follow televangelist b/c they don't teach complete bible truth. Yes I do fear God, and plan on fearing him until my days are done. I read the bible and believe it, I've also been personally exposed to the presence of God and the spirit realm. So my fear/belief is justified enough for me in that. No need for a televangelist nor atheist to help me establish a truth.

Faith without works is DEAD. In Romans 2, Paul is clear that the DOERS of the Law will be justified. Paul also endorses being instructed out of the Law in verse 18. Our eternal salvation is based upon faith in Messiah and repentance from our old ways. We need to observe the fundamentals of the Law to the best of our ability. His blood atones for sins committed in ignorance, as well as for sins that are repented of. But his blood does NOT apply to unrepented sins committed with knowledge.

We must have a clear understanding of the word of God, because Jesus spoke in parables many times. Mark 9:47 "And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out." Tell me, is Christ telling people to pluck their eyes out, so that they can be saved? Let know how many Christians have done this?

And I know evil is the works of the devil, but sin you are born with it, till the day you die. Then you obtain salvation only through His grace and mercy. Plus it's not devil's fault every time I sin, but my soul's fault which need a change through the work of the Holy Spirit. But t is ignorant to think we have a soul free from sin.

Adam's sin resulted in physical death and he made it possible for people to follow his example. We are born into a sinful world surrounded with temptation, but spiritual death is from OUR personal sins and that's why we are held accountable to God. I suggest you watch "Age of accountability" by refuting calvinism on youtube.

And if He were implying perfection, we wouldn't be living in these corrupt and sinful bodies. Christ never promised to us to be sinless, but to be like Him, till the day we inherit the glorious bodies.

I just said that God commands us to walk in holiness before Him(Heb 12:14, 1 Pet 1:14-16) We can do all things through Christ that stregthens us and yes it is a daily maturing process we endure. Holiness is a process that only God can produce in us through the Holy Spirit, and that doesn't occur in one day, but during your lifetime on earth. We gonna stumble and fail God sometimes, He wants us to recognize our weakness and ask for help. Plus it is unwise to judge people, cuz we don't know their circumstances in life. And your co-worker is wrong, cuz he's playing with the grace of God.

I never used to know what people meant when they said they talk to god and such experiences. If you ever have problems, surrender to god and he will help you. I'm a Christian but I have yet not been able to live fully to his word but am coming closer each and every day. When I pray I cry so bad for the wrong I've done, and didn't fully understand why. Dr Stanley helped me understand today that it is me confronting myself in fear, because, before acceptance comes denial.

well there seems to be a definitive link between education level, religion and Fox News according to studies so there goes that theory.
and communism, is a failed political ideology bible-boy, although religious zealots of the christian ilk are desperately trying to bring it back from the grave.
and finally, religion is a myth, not any particular religion but all religion. it's not religion itself that I find particularly offensive, but the rather hubris of its practitioners.

I like the way this guy preaches. Compared to most preachers I notice, he takes a much more calm and clear approach to delivering his messages. So, while that one preacher is hopping around yelling and trying to get the congregation excited (very annoying IMO) with every other word they say, this guy just chills out and actually SPEAKS.

I have become very negative about physical churches, Charles Stanley has become my pastor and helper. He has impressed me by the way he preaches about current situations and how to deal with them. It is so very tough to live in this hurting world with many evil persons and situations. Brother Stanley seems to always have a recipe (so to speak) for different things....such as anxiety. I'm thankful to God for Charles Stanley.

Dr.Stanley is an interesting speaker. But as a trinitarian, he's way off base on how to baptise. Baptism within the word of God has and will always be in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38-22:16). He alone has all saving and command power (Matt 28:18, Acts 4:12, & Col 3:17). No other way is God's (John 10:9; 14:6). We can obey the baptism of Catholics, but this will never save anyone (Mark 16:16, Matt 7:21-27, Gal 1:6-10). Paul told us baptism by belief saves us (Gal 3:27) as did Peter in 1 Pet 3:21.

Apparently, his wife was paid off to keep quiet. BTW, $TANLEY's "church" kicked me out of their "cookout for the community" ON MY BIRTHDAY! And i didn't even do anything wrong! However if you were a student of the bible, you wouldn't lay these things at God's doorstep. Evil in the world comes from choice not the lack of a greater deity. For one we're given the freedom of choice by God, thus a decision to partake in evil actions is all your own. 2nd we have a lot of the "irreverence" stem from the belief in false deity's

and as a matter of fact brainiac, I did have an elective in college entitled " the bible as literature" with a well known biblical scholar as the main lecturer. I found its violence as well as the unresolved conflicts in the gospels of mark, john and luke most interesting.

Events triggered by the release of darkness, brought about by the disobedience of man. A disobedience breathing life into a Fallen Angel who feeds off of the weakness found in the flesh. So seeing as though the bible is filled with beings made up of this flesh, we could expect this beings imprint to be present. Can it be these conflicts remain ongoing?

@perfectbark I actually don't follow televangelist b/c they don't teach complete bible truth. Yes I do fear God, and plan on fearing him until my days are done. I read the bible and believe it, I've also been personally exposed to the presence of God and the spirit realm. So my fear/belief is justified enough for me in that. No need for a televangelist nor atheist to help me establish a truth.

Sorry but he doesn't convince me any more than any other TV preacher. More softly spoken, casual, I like the way he lets the bible dangle when he walks around.
