Well it really depends on the original quality, and the file type. I found the best file type for me is WMV. However, half of the videos you get online are AVI for compression purposes. It's ok though, go ahead and download AVI files and then open them in Windows Movie Maker, and save them into another folder. Windows Movie Maker automatically codes them and converts them to WMV, with great picture quality =)
