I saw their show in Madison Wisconsin at Camp Randall in 1997. All I can say is WOW! They are born performers. I've seen my fair share of live performances, and this one is in the top 5. The only concert that can match or exceed U2 that I've seen was when i saw Bruce in 1985 (BITUSA) in Frankfurt, West (yes it was that long ago) Germany. I also saw U@ in 1985 at Nurbergring (sp?), west Germany and they were awesome. Btw, Bono almost lilled himself climbing the stage scaffolding.

"pop" was never totally finished, the band worked and worked on the songs but pushed and pushed to get it out..............the result ?? personally i love the album, but it was absolutely torn to shreds in the usa....i dont think that the usual u2 crowd got it??? and the big mistake was to get the tour going when they did....not enough time was spent rehearsing and getting the"glitches" out of the state of the art sound system etc..but hey! what a start to a show! :0)) way ahead of the crowd !!!
