This is one great cover of this song. The lead singer did it justice. The original song is impossible to download on napster so now i gotta hit up the record stores.
fantastic vocals - you got the right timbre and quite soulful. Drummer might consider playing the hi hat beat on the floor tom instead - like an Al Green sound - might add more color - great either way!
Love it...Love it! I have known these guys for 10 years and they are always awesome! Infact they are playing at 35er in Pasadena on Saturday (8/30) for Art's 50th bday...George S.
brilliant sound this is the best live version I,ve seen up to now .like the guy on the SG gibson sliding away on the frets ,sounds a bit like Steely Dan .Awsome wher is the band from anyways?
The band is out of East L.A., California. They're a talented group of guys. When we heard them play this song (they were opening up for the legendary Joe Bataan that night) we knew we had to have them on our show. The guitar player's name is George Fernandez Jr. He's a very talented guy that plays in a few bands around town.
fuckin awesome, thanks a lot for showing me how to play this song, my ear is almost none existent for anything other then simple major or minor chords......as a matter of fact , I am not even sure what chord shape I have learned today is called, but I will find out, been wanting to break out of the box I am in as far as the more conventional chords I know, again, huge service...D
