  • trick biike,, i like the bottom fairing add

  • nice work dude, i prefer the seperate belly pan myself but great job bike looks fantastic

  • What triple clamp is that? Brand name ? Or is it a TLzone special ?

  • Very nice!

  • hello i just recently bought a 97 tl1000s. i noticed your lower fairing i was looking to add one to mine where did you purchase yours

  • Ghost, are you on this east coast by chance ...who does your tuning?

  • Absolutely enjoyed the "out of the box thinking" in putting together this piece of art! You've got the eye brother and the extreme taste. Got to respect the naysayers as they come torn between the beauty and the apparent BEAST! keep me in the loop at the next walk around... inspiring.

  • lose the seat & you'll have a gorgeous bike ha ha ha ! great bike mate well done

seriously - the seat is tacky & grim ha ha ha ha

  • GM post up a new video with the new CF bits showing....can never get to much of her.....or the CF parts!

    Crazy~

  • what about indercaters?

  • nice bike. i have a custom 98 tl1000s i made 05 gixxer tal fit my tl.but where do u get the vanzuki parts

  • Glorious job man, I hope to do as good as you some day. Bottles up buddy!

  • Awesome bike man, nicely done. I don't know about the green, but that's just my personal taste, still looks like a beast man! Hope to own one somewhere around winter.

    Ride safe! Greetings from Holland.

  • fantastic bike but color combination...thanks for the tlplanet headsup down below. ive got a used one in my sights at the moment..

  • You need to upload a new vid of upgraded bike with the carbon fibre bits! :)

  • Nice bike man, like your bottom fairing and clutch n brake levers, i just got me a tl aswell 97, shes nice n straight ima mod her out too, its my first "big" bike, ridden heaps of mean two strokes but these are somthing else, ive always looked down at jappa sports bikes, ive personally always wanted a vrod, funny how i ended up with a tls.. ;0)

  • @RiceEyes420 Sign up at tlplanet.com and tlzone.net if you want the best websites to help you with anything TL related.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • @RiceEyes420 Go to TLPlanet.com and register there. That place has lots of info and mod tips, plus the group buy section is off the hook. We actually have someone making carbon fiber EVERYTHING for the TLS and TLR!

  • this is a TL1000r not a s model u cn tell that it is beacuse the s has half faring and the r has a full faring but nice paint

  • @lambo930 Nope... it's a TL1000S. I have added the lower (aftermarket) fairings to it. I'm doing a new walk around soon since I have taken the lowers off and went with a belly pan.

It's very easy to tell the TLS from the TLR in other ways too... notice my tubular frame, and upper fairing design.

Easy mistake to make... but it's a TLS.

  • @Ghost360MAFIA I just got a 2k TL, I like your bike alot!, I was also leaning towards a belly pan or chin fairing. Really like the Mirrors and carbon heel guards! Would you happen to know if my 2k has the SS headers, as I have the stock headers with Yosh slip ons and would like to polish mine! Also, how much would I expect to spend on the Ohlins steering damper? I know the Swingarm damper is way high! I just joined TLzone recently! "Vtwins4ever" haha, kinda dorky I guess!

  • Awsome dude, fantastic colour...and you can't beat that sound.

  • Thats 1 hell of a bike mate :-) I currently ride a 98 gsxr 600 srad, im after upgradin to a 1000 and thinking a v-twin for a change in ride and sound.. but You have just won me over in gettin a tl1000s

  • where can i got to get plastics for my TLS

  • clucth cover is badass

  • @f100kls I just keep the bike clean. I clean it after every few rides and I NEVER use soap/water/bucket. I only use chemicals and cotton towels. Degreasers, windex, spray wax, etc...

Thanks for the comments though. =)

  • @Daliadanny I bought the lower fairing from eBay and can't remember the seller's name. I don't think the fairing had a name, or style... at the time the seller was selling them all the time, but I guess that's long gone... sorry.

  • same here i have a TLS and would like to get one of those clutch covers, contact info would be great. thanks oh and wicked nice bike man.

  • @MrLajoieable Sorry I haven't responded to some recent questions... just don't get on here much. I really need a new video like I said before because so much has changed.

To anyone asking about the clear clutch cover and pressure plate, etc... you can get them at tlplanet.com from forum member name: Vandriver

He makes TONS more than just that piece... nearly every custom billet piece on my bike is from him.

  • @TelmoParreira as above, you can visit: TLPLANET.COM and look up forum memeber: Vandriver for all things billet for the TLR and TLS. =)

  • hi, i got a TLS and i love your clear clutch cover, where can i buy one??? can you give some email/phone number contact ?

    thankx

  • WHERE CAN I GETN THAT BOTTOM FAIRING. I HAVE THE SAME EXACT MODEL ? BUT BESIDES THAT, YOUR BIKE LOOKS AWESOME !

  • how did you get you chasis frame, forks, swingarm so clean, it looks like it has just rolled out on its 1st day from the factory floor. have you painted any of them?

  • Gorgeous bike, I drool when I look at your machine.

  • Thanks for all the positive comments... but believe it or not, a LOT has changed since this video... I'll be posting an updated one soon with tons of carbon fiber parts, including my carbon fiber BST wheels!

  • AWESOME BIKE!!!!!!!!

  • love you tls bro looks grate one of the beater ones i have seen grate job

  • Wow. Beautiful TLS buddy!

  • omg.. looks great

  • I LOVE IT ...

  • If you could put a price on this bike for sell what would you say?

  • @toe2toecory That's a good question. The bike has already had more things added... the biggest one being carbon fiber BST wheels that are freakin' amazing. You can see pics of how it looks now here:

    flickr.com/photos/ghost360mafia/sets/72157625171846976/

They way it was in the video I have to have $6k - $8k to not feel bad about selling it, the way it is NOW, I'd need $8k-$10k. Those prices aren't even a big "profit" considering the investment. Of course it's NOT for sale. =)

  • what a beautiful bike, was a toss up between this and an sv1000, wish i'd gone for the tiller now :(

  • thanks alot for the info ! nice bike and have a good one cheers

  • hey i own a tl1000r and i love your gap tray mod and ive been searching the internet for it and i haven't been able to find it. i might be looking in the wrong place , i was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. thanks cheers

  • @deerdorph

There are two websites that you MUST be a member of if you own a TL. They are very simillar and most guys are on both.

    tlplanet.com

    tlzone.net

Both are free to join and you will be glad you did.

TLP member N2wheelies makes these trays for the TLS but I'm not sure if he makes them for the TLR.

TLP member S14unimog definatley makes them for the TLR.

  • Hi. I have a TLS as well. 2000 model. Where could I get lower plastics/fairings from? I understand this was suppose to be a naked bike, but in my opinion, it's looks way better with the lowers. Your bike is beautiful!!!! I wouldn't even want to ride it. Looking at your bike gives me hope. Thanks for posting this vid.

  • @RLSpruill Thanks! I got the lower fairings off eBay, I think they were $120 primed and pre-drilled with all mounting hardware. Several types are on the market. I like the look too!

They are thinner than OEM and you will need aluminum heat transfer tape for the area around the exhaust since it doesn't come with it.

If you are not a member of tlplanet.com or tlzone.net join right away... It's free and there are tons of helpful people on there.

My username on both sites is GhostMAFIA

  • @Ghost360MAFIA If you remember or find your seller, will you let me know? I've searched everywhere and I'm having a rough time finding them. Thanks for your help.

  • Woow awesome look!

  • nice bike bud i was looking for a tiller all over the net to see if i could find one the green you have yours because im in the process of painting mine the same but a bit brighter with the extreme green.. i love those pipes also especially how they come down further than the tiller i thought about doing a tail end swap cause i like the shorter span than the huge tiller rear. i wonder if i were to get those pipes for a S, if they they give a clean look on a tiller..but very nice bike well done!

  • @PH3NOM3NON03 Thanks! My paint is from a 2010 Kawasaki ZX10 so it's easy to find. The upsweep on the TLR is different from the TLS is the only real difference in the way the pipes set. In order to get a lower sweep on the pipes for the TLR you would need some custom header work. =)

  • @Ghost360MAFIA ok the R has 10 hp more, and a full covering.

  • Nice.Starts up immediately.Very nice work.

  • Wow! Listen to the hillbilly KY accent! Lol! Serious great vid.
