  • cried so much at this part of the movie

  • so nice

  • 1:36 where Leon gets shot

  • This made me cry...

  • this is for.... (gives stan a mysterious gift)... Mathilda.

/:l -looks at it and realizes that its a grenade pin-

O.O -opens vest and founds alot of Grenades on Leon- oh shit.

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

  • tenderly beautiful piece

  • Leon didn't die! He would always be with Mathilda. One of my favourite films of all time.

  • it was two stairs, why he didint take the upone? :( he had a choise and he make it...

  • Saddest movie... Fuck.. Time to play through Grand Theft Auto IV again.

  • @ventragag

Grand Theft Auto IV? What does that have to do with this movie?

  • why leon go down stairs?

    T_T

  • Jeremy Irons best film.

  • @TheZagiello Jeremy Irons?

  • @TheZagiello i think you mean luc besson :)

  • there are just a few movies which made me cry and this true masterpiece is one of them

  • Sad ending, I was seariously hoping he was going to make it.

  • I was so sad at this part. Cried a little...So perfectly executed, the lighting, the point of view, the music, and that flash of light...Fuck you critics this movie was perfect.

  • @Rikuji20 I agree

  • One thing Besson and Serra do very well is using musical beats to enhance a particular moment on screen (like Stansfield sweeping through the bead curtain, or the light washing over Mathilda's face when Leon finally opens the door).

This piece is a good example - Leon dragging his gas mask off, Mathilda running away down the street, and the "This is from Mathilda" line are all tied together with the music, so that you can see the whole scene in your head as you listen to the soundtrack.

  • Why didnt he walk out the other way?

  • @Noobkilla99786 werent there too many police there ?

  • @xH0R0R Yeah, probably.

  • Very beautiful music, very tragic and dramatic !

  • Stansfeld?

    - "at your service"

    This is.... from... Matilda

    -"SH..."

  • great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i always loved this music at the end.

  • "at your service"

  • I was so freaking mad and sad when Leon died. He was so damn close to being reunited with Matilda! This is one of the couple of scenes that made me shed a tear. Anyways, the song is great. The song alone is probabaly what made me cry. It made the emotion so intense. And for those wondering, the song that plays at the end of the movie is called Shape of My Heart by Sting.

  • @xCryptKingx

I was mad too when he got shot in the back of the head. Then i saw him give the pin to Stansfield, then he was like "Wtf?" then opens his shirt "Oh shit" BOOM!

    THen i was happy.

  • Still gives me shivers. Sad face for Leon, but excellent film. And a good end to Stansfield.

  • aahh this is when leon dies,it is sad this part.amazing musik and greeat film.

  • great song :(

  • :( ... Why dont they film an alternate ending ?!?!?!?

Well ... i guess we cant have everything ....

    Great Film !

    Great Music !

  • @Calimru The original ending in the script was even worse... in it Mathilda does the "grenade ring trick" instead of Leon, who had already been killed by the cop :(

  • really?

anyways in the original script mathilda was a sensual woman of twenty years-old.

But when Luc Besson met Natalie Portman, he changed it.

  • @micheckcheck

She musta been very charming. I dont blame besson, he made the right move.

  • @micheckcheck I don't know what was or wasn't in the original script, but "meeting" Natalie Portman wasn't what prompted Besson to make Mathilda a kid. They were already casting for a 12-year-old, and she talked her parents into letting her audition. The casting director stated in an interview (on the DVD) that it was a nightmare trying to find a young enough actress whose parents would let her do the flick - he was auditioning 17 year olds and hoping one of them looked young enough.

  • i wish leon took the first way to got out....not the korridor...T.T

  • I remember myself crying so bad at this scene X(

  • me too, it's so sad

  • 1:50 to 2:25 makes my eyes fill up wit de water.

I really want it, is when she is planting Leon's plant!!!

    aaaah!! I love that song!

    THis one is great!

  • Do you mean the Sting one? If so it's called Shape of my Heart.

  • :( :(

  • This is from.......Mathilda...........

  • The degenerate junkie got what he deserved.

  • at around 1:40-2:00 was the saddest part of the song.

this song is so beautiful and sad, it makes me want to cry every time i hear it. :'(
