The flamethrower is underpowered. You did well despite this. MAX'd or otherwise. I'm currently doing an Impossible specialty run (lvl1 Rig, no node use and no shots unless forced to progress). I'm at ch.9.

It is my intention to do a run with the flamethrower as my focus where I actually use it to make some fights easier where guns would help notably. It was good to see someone go at the final boss like this. I have some ideas of my own on the matter.

dude using the flamethrower on this boss makes the fight more awesome and disgusting. When his sacs blow up, it's like he's spitting out his guts. The subtlety of it all (just fire, no huge plasma shot) adds to it.

Maybe you missed the silent hill seires but they still are the scariest games ever made and there are others, penumbra, and even resident evil was scary....this game had great "effects" but thats not what a horror game needs.....play SH2 and then tell me which is better.

I've upgraded the weapons all the way and to tell you the truth, the pulse rifle stands out. The line gun and force gun are second when you face multiple enemies. Once pulse rifle is fully upgraded, you CAN really do a whole game with it and get your trophy while doing it.

Pulse rifle seemed weak to me even when upgraded, I quit using it after i got the 30 kill trophy.

So, from the start, she is the technical officer. "There should be a security detail in here" "Well there's not!" wow, what a bitch and just at the start. She helps Issac (sortof) to get through the ship. The doctor tells him to return the marker to end the necromorph scourge. He almost gets the marker but then she shoots the doctor. Issac gets the marker on the pedistal ending the necromorph scourge by killing hundreds. She then takes it back to give it back the government.

She was pretty much just acting the entire time and was merely guiding you and helping you only to help her own mission. Basically, she has YOU do all the work of getting things working, finding the Red Marker and dealing with the Necromorphs most of the time.

Of course, she failed the mission as the Red Marker was destroyed by the falling chunk of the planet.

This leads me to believe that the (true) sequel will probably revolve more around the original Black Marker and whatnot.

Well, if you know the death sequence for Isaac for the Hive Mind, the part when he gets grabbed by it and heaved into the air and you gotta quickly shoot out the rest of its eyes, then I would vote for that death for Kendra, if not a different one somehow.

Like perhaps grab her, lift her up and slamming her onto the ground a few times before gnawing on her and tearing her apart, lol.

Well, we don't know if that Necromorph Nicole was even real much less Isaac getting killed by her.

Considering the Hive Mind was the source of the Necromorphs (in this game anyway), it doesn't possible that she should even be alive anymore after it was killed which leaves it as probably a hallucination on Isaac's part which could've been influenced from just seeing the video of Nicole's suicide before.
