Just because it's original doesn't mean it's good. The iphone may be the origional but it has alot a problem that the Droid stepped in and make something that doesn't have these issues. If you want a Verizon phone that's almost as good as the iphone, get the Droid 2 global then,

higher resolution screen, data is noticably faster with verizon, 5.0mp camera with flash, hard keyboard, The iphone is a great device but verizons network is WAY better than ATT, that's just a fact. Verizon turned down the iphone before apple went to ATT (not making that up I worked for verizon) it is definately a great phone though... but I recommend you spend some time getting to know android and what it's all about.

And comparing the "100,000+ apps" in the AppStore isn't saying much either - how many FLASHLIGHT apps are there? 20? Truth is, most are duplicates AND/OR worthless. i have a Droid X and my phone is fucking awesome. hell, it beats the iPhone/iPhone 4 any day of the week. the browser is SOOO much fast than the iPhone. my Droid X has an 8 mega pixel camera WITH flash, compared to the iPhone's 5 mega pixels with NO flash. plus, AT&T's coverage sucks big fat ass and Verizon has the best coverage EVER. thank god the iPhone is now on Verizon. i still wouldn't get it though... i love my Droid X too much for that trash. original my ass. get a Droid bitch.

higher resolution screen, data is noticably faster with verizon, 5.0mp camera with flash, hard keyboard, The iphone is a great device but verizons network is WAY better than ATT, that's just a fact. Verizon turned down the iphone before apple went to ATT (not making that up I worked for verizon) it is definately a great phone though... but I recommend you spend some time getting to know android and what it's all about.

Just because something came first, doesn't mean there wont be better versions. The commodore 64 was the best for it's time and genre, but you don't see people with those anymore. Lol!! Just think why everyone compares their phone with the iphone!!Its just his opinion and i agree,sure other phones might be better,but they come and go while iphone is still here and many ppl still use it. If you want to get that verizon crap then its your choice,Im happy with my iphone and nope Im not stuck with any contracts...By the way all sites that offer apps,those apps are for iphone only because its more popular:)

Apple bashes on other companies, nobody cares.
Other companies bash on Apple, OHH THE INHUMANITY!
The OS is the only thing original on the iPhone.
Contract wise don't tell me you weren't stuck with yours too, either that or the $700 you spent on the iPhone.
Apps? OOO I GOT A FART APP! Guess what! I don't give a rat's ass. Droid has apps too the only reason it doesn't have as much is that Apple had a 2 year head start.
Oh yeah and give us proof that a Droid can't take that much damage.

Saying the iPhone is "the original" and using that as an argument why the Droid is inferior is like saying the abacus is better than the calculator because "it was the original." And comparing the "100,000+ apps" in the AppStore isn't saying much either - how many FLASHLIGHT apps are there? 20? Truth is, most are duplicates AND/OR worthless. I personally like the apps I have on my Droid and use most of them daily. For me, the benefits outweigh the "iphone was the first" stuff. Just my $0.02.
