Properly one of the most flawed systems that could ever be added to YouTube.

You can't even put up Battlefield 3 videos you recorded on PC without some group claiming to "own" the rights.

They seriously need to do a massive overhaul on this system now.

I had a similar problem today i gotten a false copyright claim from "ign" for uploading a part of my catherine playthrough twice luckly i was able to counter claim against it but man it was annoying it took 2 tries for them to understand that ign doesn't own the visual content to catherine atlus does

Sanoma NL does not own any of the content that they are attempting to claim. It belongs solely to the game developers/artists/designers

The problem with this, is that anyone else who wants to do a review(or whatever) of the game now gets automatically slapped with an automatic "visual copyright claim" suit by Sanoma.

Sanoma NL is a game-reviewing website who posts their reviews on youtube. Apparently what they have been doing, is claiming visual copyright over their REVIEWS of games, and claiming that as their own.

i got a copyright strike on my account from a 9 second video, i had used a song i had altered + used my own visual content, the video got flagged and i got a strike against my account without even a warning.

I had maybe four copyright claims from Shogakuken about my Pokemon Battle Revolution videos pop up on my account. They don't own PBR, so I was able to submit a counter claim without having to remove my videos, and my videos were unblocked after about a month. Did the rules change?

Sames happend to me with a few of my vids, they don't go down but it says they can put adds next to my vid. WTF. I havent challenged any of them yet cus' they haven't told me to take them down or any thing but should i? Could it hurt me latter?
