i don't know how i've missed this one for so long , i've just veiwed it not for the first time , thank's !
it's like i need to watch you play this one on your `56 , it's like food for the soul , sure to alway's make the day abit more wholesome and bright , you offer it so genuine and true , with the tone nailed dead on , thank you sir' !!!
Nice job mate..keep playing the blues...I remember seeing Fleetwood mac in 1968 in a small blues club in Kidderminster..It was Peter,Mick.Jeremy and John ...then I saw them again at a Blues festival In Droitwich and Danny Kirwan had joined the Band and Peter stood back and let Danny play some great solos..great times and a Brillianf Band
@rogbow69 ...Thanks very much.I saw Savoy Brown (my faves at the time) in clubs but only ever saw Mac at the Albert Hall with Duster Bennett - they were bloomin' marvellous
what a tone.....and what a feel too. I think I need to get myself one of those CS Strat if I want to get a proper instrument. Anyway, my compliments. FANTASTIC!!!
OK, I get it. I need to go "farther down the blues trail" to be able to do what you do so very well. One regret: my friends and I had tickets to see the 'Mac when they "were a proper band", way back in about 1970, here in Minneapolis, MN. That was the tour when Peter and Jeremy went off the deep end. Glad to see Peter is still alive and kicking.
thank you sir, when Fleetwood Mac was a proper band, yes sir in deed. you sure have that right. and your playing is marvelous. Great feeling and touch for Greeny's Music.
Very tasty indeed. So good that I felt compelled to post my own weedy reply. Lovely tone from that Strat, and I could listen to you put phrases together for hours...
How lovely. Evocative and sweet yet individual. You give the beauty of the original piece with the insistence and character of your touch. What a treat. Thank you.
Hey nice playing! and nice tone and guitar.......I also prefer the maple necks on the strats. They just feel softer to me ( I know that sounds crazy) I once had an Electra Les Paul copy, and I had an old maple Fender Strat neck fitted to it. It was tricky, and the bridge had to be moved, but after some bodywork and a nice paint job, It was great. I love where the switch and knobs are on the Pauls, but I also love maple Strat necks, so I had the best of both worlds! Thanks again for posting! ;)
Brilliant! One of my favourite tacks ever and this is a realy good take on it. Can I second the request for a tab of this? Or can you point us in the right direction for a close version. Thanks.
Was such a great fleetwoodmac fan, still love them, and you bring back some memories of very wild nights :=)) you are a really wonderful player, thanks so much for nice words for my postings !!!
That was lovely.Need your love so bad is my favourite blues number of all time and this is definately the best version I have heard outside of Peter Green.
I am a 57 yr old blues fan with all early Mac's blues music.
I have only been playing about 120 days and only practised with this sames song( plus learning blues scales - boxes etc)
I would love to see the tab of your version. Is there any chance at all please?
