  • @TheFlameTop ...Thank you so much for those very kind words.

  • Nice job mate..keep playing the blues...I remember seeing Fleetwood mac in 1968 in a small blues club in Kidderminster..It was Peter,Mick.Jeremy and John ...then I saw them again at a Blues festival In Droitwich and Danny Kirwan had joined the Band and Peter stood back and let Danny play some great solos..great times and a Brillianf Band

  • @rogbow69 ...Thanks very much.I saw Savoy Brown (my faves at the time) in clubs but only ever saw Mac at the Albert Hall with Duster Bennett - they were bloomin' marvellous

  • @billedwards20 ....Thanks so much

  • what a tone.....and what a feel too. I think I need to get myself one of those CS Strat if I want to get a proper instrument. Anyway, my compliments. FANTASTIC!!!

  • @Italicorum3500 ...You're very kind.Thank you.

  • Still my favourite... I like that bit at the end best, it sounds beautiful here too! Thanks again for this ♪

  • Thank YOU

  • Simply marvelous and ever so soulful playing. I'd love to be able to do it. Any tabs available anywhere??

  • Thanks very much...no tabs I'm afraid.I don't read 'em.Just make it up as I go along really, based on the record(ish)

  • OK, I get it. I need to go "farther down the blues trail" to be able to do what you do so very well. One regret: my friends and I had tickets to see the 'Mac when they "were a proper band", way back in about 1970, here in Minneapolis, MN. That was the tour when Peter and Jeremy went off the deep end. Glad to see Peter is still alive and kicking.

  • @NicolletIslandSlim ...thanks for dropping.I'm sorry it took so very long for me to acknowledge your comment

  • Back for another listen. Great as ever

I think its time for some more music from a "proper band"

  • Ta ever so Gerry

  • thank you sir, when Fleetwood Mac was a proper band, yes sir in deed. you sure have that right. and your playing is marvelous. Great feeling and touch for Greeny's Music.

  • You're very kind.Thank you.

  • Man you Brits sure know how make something truly American and translate it to something better. God Bless Mr. Green.

  • Thank you.

  • sounds fantastic mate. a pleasure to listen to.

  • Smooooth, thankyou very much regards Steve SingfieldSaskatoon Saskatchewan Canada

  • Thank YOU very much.Good to see you.

  • Very tasty indeed. So good that I felt compelled to post my own weedy reply. Lovely tone from that Strat, and I could listen to you put phrases together for hours...

  • You're very kind.Thank you.

  • Dang Man! Amazing tone! I really love the tone. what type of strat and pickups are you using?

  • Thanks...it's a custom shop '56 relic with whatever pickups they use.lol.i don't really know.

  • They get a pretty fat tone for a strat!

  • Thanks..

  • Good morning and thank you.

  • How lovely. Evocative and sweet yet individual. You give the beauty of the original piece with the insistence and character of your touch. What a treat. Thank you.

  • What a lovely compliment.Thank you.

  • sweet guitarplaying, love your strattechnique

  • Thanks so much.I appreciate it.

  • This is a beautiful take of a great song!

I`ve allways been a fan of Peter Green and early Fleetwood Mac.

  • Thank you so much.

  • Hey nice playing! and nice tone and guitar.......I also prefer the maple necks on the strats. They just feel softer to me ( I know that sounds crazy) I once had an Electra Les Paul copy, and I had an old maple Fender Strat neck fitted to it. It was tricky, and the bridge had to be moved, but after some bodywork and a nice paint job, It was great. I love where the switch and knobs are on the Pauls, but I also love maple Strat necks, so I had the best of both worlds! Thanks again for posting! ;)

  • Thanks very much.I actually much prefer rosewood.I don't really like lacquered boards,but I'll play what's there.

  • I agree with you Paul about the real Fleetwood Mac.

"What do you think of that I wonder." He says.

    Bloody good I says;)

  • I'm happy to admit it's an age thing with me.Lol...Thank you very much.

  • I must be 'suffering' the same then;)

  • nice tone!

  • Thank you.

  • this is great

    5*********************

  • Thank you so much.

  • Nice playin' Great tone. Cool guitar. I had an old strat in the 60s. It was just an old guitar then. nobobdy wanted it. Great nuances! Very PG.

(Peter Green Gharana). Thanx for playin' for me!Cheers!

  • That's nice work. It's quite a hard tune to make some own work on, but you do manage it well.

  • Thank you so much.

  • Brilliant! One of my favourite tacks ever and this is a realy good take on it. Can I second the request for a tab of this? Or can you point us in the right direction for a close version. Thanks.

  • Thank you so much.

  • Was such a great fleetwoodmac fan, still love them, and you bring back some memories of very wild nights :=)) you are a really wonderful player, thanks so much for nice words for my postings !!!

  • As ever...too kind.Thank you.

  • guitar sounds great as does your playing

  • That was lovely.Need your love so bad is my favourite blues number of all time and this is definately the best version I have heard outside of Peter Green.

I am a 57 yr old blues fan with all early Mac's blues music.

I have only been playing about 120 days and only practised with this sames song( plus learning blues scales - boxes etc)

I would love to see the tab of your version. Is there any chance at all please?

    Bleadbelly1

  • tasty!

  • Awesome tone and playing.

  • Thanks.
