  • I did not hear this song until years after it's release. It's just as beautiful now as it was the first time I heard it.

  • Of loves lost...

    And of love's held...

Nobody ever conveyed the power of a moment...

    or an act...

    as well as the Blues.

  • I agree with Chris54724, this song is one of my all time favourites, and this album is in my top ten of all time albums, pure sonic bliss!!

  • John Lodge has written many beautiful songs. His style of writing is very different compared with Justin's. They both have been huge contributers to the Moodies. One can only pitty all the music lovers out there who missed out on this great band.

  • because, even at 55, i am still a boy at times. yikes!! do we ever grow up???

    ~~

  • GO "the Lodge" ...!

  • wow, almost speechless. The Moodies have such an fabulous repetoire of great songs spanning from Go Now to all the the tunes on Long Distance Voyager.

Not to be undone with the timeless Nights in White Satan. So many visual auras spent listening to their music. And the strength of their music sounds just as great some 40 years later. Wow

  • patrick was a great replacement for pinder that guy is amazing. i understand though,i missed pinder as well. and Ray what can i say, but you had to love him. lol

  • i can relate to this song. many times i've said something and thought to myself. why on earth did i ever say that. opps too late can't take it back and say well what I meant to say was....................

  • Saw them 15 years ago in my town with our symphony orchestra. One of the best concerts ever!

  • This is one of the Moodies' best songs. John is a wonderful songwriter, and I think this is one of his best songs. A well-written song, nicely performed by John and the guys. Thanks for sharing this.

    Love, Jusfriend

  • I absolutely LOVE "Long Distance Voyager"...it's one of my favorite albums of ALL TIME! This is one heck of a song!

  • En 1981 veníamos de 12 años de gobierno militar y esto nos fascinaba. The Moody Blues salieron en 1964.

  • The Masters of orchestral rock!

  • Amo essa música , lembra tempos que não voltam mais , que pena .

I love this music , remember me old times

that not back anymore , it is a pity .

  • AWESOME song and instrumentals !!!

  • Essa música também faz parte da trilha sonora da minha vida!!! Me lembra uma antiga amiga muito querida que eu perdi de vista... É uma música que embala a alma!!!

  • At a show some years back (around the red rocks time) I was at their show at Pine Knob in Clarckston Mich and My g/f and I somehow got back stage(long story lol) She called John ove and he shook my hand, kissed hers and sat down with us for 5 minutes.Total class act these guys are. We still talk about that and how great it was.

  • Oh how cool, I grew up there, love the venue! Love the Moodies forever

  • wow, Justin botches the solo in this one...ooops.

  • OMG..been following them around 30 years or so! Had the pleasure of meeting Justin Hayward.. and been to many of their concerts! This is my favourite track!! Brum rules!! gtrtech13.. which part of brum u from?

  • This is a superb track by a superb group, wonderful guitar lead. Amazing to think when i was a young boy they were making one of their debut gigs here in Birmingham not 100 yards from where i am sitting.

Listen also to Deep, Shadows on the Wall, It May be a fire, off various albums. Incredible output from these lads.never heard a bad track yet in 30 years. Check our Blue Jays too

  • O tempo fez bem pra esses caras, como cantam e tocam bem .Essa cançao faz parte da minha trilha sonora.

  • I know this song is probably a chance to give Justin's throat a well-needed break, but man I'd sure love to hear him sing along on this one!

  • This is BRILLIANT! They sound better here then in the 1984 live video. Anyone know if this show or tour was released on DVD?

    Thanks Redbaron.

  • talk talk talk yeah baby! Happy b'day Johnny c storm!

  • I know that song, i sound it at my dad's cd, lovely song

  • brilliant song, one of my fav's by the MB's... gotta say and i hope i dont offend Justin fans.. but I wish John sang alot more in lead. Brilliant timing, and gr8 falsetto ;) Voice hasn't changed much, compare this to "Street Cafe"

  • This song finally reaches it's pinnacle here with this arrangement. Thanks for posting. (How about Justin,s falceto..and considering it's extremely difficult for men to maintain such an ability after 50 and beyond.

  • maravilhoso

  • I wonder how many understand this song. I had a lady follow me to the States from Korea in'83. I didn't realize what I had done by treating her so nice. You see, I was already married. And then my wife left me. Funny isn't it. Bilbo2shire
