  • I can totally understand taking HCG and have even had the thought sometimes. However, having had hormone problems before, I now take very good care of my body and will not consider anything other than the totally natural route for weight loss, even if it is slower.

  • Interestingly, I have the exact opposite problem from her. I have trouble gaining weight, even at 4000 calories per day of lots of protein, fiber, complex-carbs(not simple sugars), cholesterol, fat, etc.

    I found out what my problem was years ago. I have multiple hormone problems.

    1. Far lower testosterone(and subsequently far lower estrogen) than the average man in his 20s.

    2. A slight case of hyperthyroidism. My thyroid is a little overactive.

    So, I learned a great deal about steroid cycles.

  • @LoveSteroid Yeah I agree with you, everything isn't in balance. Must be... I mean I am skinny but I know it is because I don't eat enough, just don't have the time haha

  • Yeah, I have been urging her to get multiple other doctors' opinions, but she's stubborn and hates going to see doctors.

    I've seen what she eats per day and it's like a few greens with a couple small protein shakes...

    Only 2g of sugar a day(1g per shake), according to the nutritional info of the protein powder.

    It's my strong suspicion that she has a very poor thyroid hormone imbalance.

    I know for a fact that she doesn't sneak food. She's a VERY responsible girl who has great self-control.

    She also isn't intensely skinny either. I like some healthy weight on my women and would never let her get to an unhealthy body-weight. She's 5' 7" and weighs about 145. She wants to get down to 125-135 range.

    She's seen a doctor and they said she's fine.

    If that was a question in a case study I would say it was impossible...

    I don't know how that is possible but I cannot argue with the facts. Your lady must be magic (the only thing I can understand right now lol otherwise my brain would explode!) lol

    The only reason I am freaking out is because in a normal person it would require somewhere in the ballpark of 1500 calories a day to sustain that weight.

    Not saying anything you said was wrong because I have heard some crazy things that I never would have believed had I not seen it with my own eyes.

  • This makes me happy. I don't know why your rants make me happy but they do. Also, I saw a billboard for a HCG diet. Now I'm glad to know what it is.

  • Most people on the HCG diet aren't getting real HCG. They're usually just taking the homeopathic oral shit.

    I agree with you about the eating right and exercising, but my girlfriend exercises for hours a day and only gets 200-400 calories per day. Yet she still has trouble losing even a pound a month.
