@AliciaMaricia There are cleaner ways--though this isnt really a "contaminated" way unless youve got a lot of shit floating in the air and falling on your table of to-be-pressed kief. The safest solventless way of making hash is using the water extraction method. There are many forums you can read this on, just look up "Making Bubble Hash". The CCC420 have a good vid of making it too. Cheers

I can't even begin to state how many mistakes are made this way versus the proper way of making Bubble Hash. This is totally ghetto, wastes so many of the trichomes, combines all your grades into one grade and poullutes that one mass with contaminates, also the dry ice is too cold and thus destroys the trichomes and breaks up the leaf as well.

@dondimeerkat takes 1/100th of the time and you get about 7 grams to every ounce and a half of trim, I did this method this weedkend, smokes just as nice and gets you just as high as bubble hash, I will never use my 20 gallon bubble hash machine again if you add in labor to hash ratio.

This isn't HASH it's Keif. The dry ice (CO2) freezes the trichomes and they snap off. The trichomes are what stores the oils (THC, CBD, CBN, CBD, CBV, etc) and thus this is a decent way to concentrate large amounts of otherwise useless trim. However it would still be better to make BHO or Bubble Hash.

@mamalademand Sure. Keif/Keef is just a collection of very fine plant matter and trichomes. It is a form of concentrated MJ, it's dry and powder-like. So if you can imagine a very fine powdered form of MJ that is pretty much just the "good stuff" mixed with enough plant matter to be like smoking herb. Hash is extracted THC and other cannibinoids and is very sticky, smoking hash is usually done with a special pipe or melted on top of herb. Hash is normally 80-90% THC.

supercritical co2 instructions 1st get a high pressure vessel, gauge, and regulator. my vessel is a 2100 psi oxygen tank. next get dry ice crushed to a powder and add it to the vessel, next get 200 proof ethanol. i use 2% co-solvent, so 3 lbs of dry ice: 27 grams alcohol. Then i add 14 grams of ground stink buds as fine as kief. screw on regulator, check not to have any leaks and submerge it in water at 104'f and wait for it 2 stabilize. Next release gas in to a sealed vessel or a tall container

@Mooplet You can make hash many different ways but this isn't it. Not all hash is compressed into a rock (finger hash, bubble hash). Pollen presses just compact it, it's still just a ball of kief. Hash gets you higher than pure kief.
