I didn't hear the word "venom". However, I am hearing little blips of silence in the audio. This only happened two or three places, but it happened during Moyers's Rolling Stone interview clip where O'reilly thinks he hears him say "venom". Perhaps the word was said in one of these silences in this recording. Or is it just me who hears skipping in the sound? Regardless, "spewing" was no where to be heard.

I never heard O'Reilly's name in the first clip (he said Fox News), and Moyers never said venom in the second one (unless it was in one of the parts which were clipped, but if that's the case, why play it as "proof"?).

1. WMD were FOUND in Iraq, just not the massive quantities that all intel people claimed.
2. Bush got the SAME intel reports that the Senate Intel Com got. Congress, including well over 50% of democrats voting to authorize the invasion.
3. Evidence & testimony surfaced after the invasion that Saddam was being LIED TO by his own military research people - some of those lies were believed by US & other intel orgs.(they HAD to be air tight lies because Saddam would EXECUTE YOU for lying to him)

I didn't hear the word "venom". However, I am hearing little blips of silence in the audio. This only happened two or three places, but it happened during Moyers's Rolling Stone interview clip where O'reilly thinks he hears him say "venom". Perhaps the word was said in one of these silences in this recording. Or is it just me who hears skipping in the sound? Regardless, "spewing" was no where to be heard.

So to keep saying 'left' and 'far left' brings up connotations of Communism. "Original reporting" means that you do more than just listen to what you're being told. You don't just merely highlight the evidence presented to you that supports a given thesis (e.g., Iraq has WMDs, is an imminent threat, and has ties to Al-quaeda). You just don't roll over. You check the veracity of that evidence, you check sources, you evaluate the reliability of sources. And - just as important - you consider the evidence that doesn't support that thesis.

Is it me, or do all the quotes that O'Reilly & his producer claim Moyers said, not exist in the audio interview? I never heard O'Reilly's name in the first clip (he said Fox News), and Moyers never said venom in the second one (unless it was in one of the parts which were clipped, but if that's the case, why play it as "proof"?).

first off....he didn't say bill o'reilly...he said fox news was part of a "sly machine"....second...."i believe i heard the word 'venom' in there"....i didn't....i've played it back a few times and it does sound like it's kind of skipping at the one part....but i didn't once hear him say the word "venom"......it may say "venom" where it skips....i can't tell....but jesse does seem like a dork....

It's incredible how Fox News turns everything on its head. Calling any opponent "left wing" is ok, but being called "right wing" is slander. Bill Moyer is not objective, but Fox News is. There strategy simply is "say the opposite of the truth" and people will believe it.
