I was listening to house an acid house in 87 but didn't get in to a rave till 90 and didn't stop till 2000. The pill were still caps then... Till the doves came out. I was there an I miss them days

No it wasn't 1984 at all! I was 18 in 1984 and know for sure that there was no acid house or rave music around until at least late 1987. The first I heard about it was from a newspaper article in November 1987. The scene also did not really take off until early 1988.
