I said "this was on the kenny rogers special when beyond the season came out.. ... its' a Garth song..".. i  know it was on the Kenny Rogers special.. The special was called "keep christmas with you".

Garth and Trisha were guests, with Garth singing two songs if memory serves- this one (the old man's back in town) and another (it's escaping my memory at the moment)... The special came out around the same time as Beyond the season ...

Still Kenny featuring his guests tho regardless of this being a Brooks song; and it's bemusing as to why you would post otherwise if you knew in the first place, which was the point of my comment. I've seen this special many times, it also featured boys to men as well as Garth and Trisha. Seeing Kenny sing with Garth was the highlight for me as Rogers and Brooks are my two favorite country singers.

Kenny was ok, imo- Garth was far better (at the time)
