Hey John, Just ordered my 564. Got my Q119 last week, and had a 730 already. Guess I'm all set up to test this out for myself. Thanks for the great Video Demo. This just smokes
This unit look gorgeous and has an extremly unique sound, even without much filtering at all. And to me it's fun to listen to the sequencing pattern... is it a random sequence via "sample&hold" or is it a "pre-recorded" sequence, played over and over again? I would suggest nr 2. But the notes are so far from a usual scale, it's fun to listen to (well in my opinion), and nice how you add the delays and rythmical subdivisions. Good work!
Thank you Mr Rice. Youve answered my Forum question with these videos. Looks like i will have to save up for a M564. Thats is just what i'm after. Like Moonmodular say. Cool Usage. (Are they trying to sell you another module as well). : )
The closest thing to a real "ratchet" effect was the last part. The clock divided portion is really cool though. My thoughts on what "ratchetting" triggers means is similar to thinking of a sound that a ratchet wrench makes when spun. 64th notes or better.
This is a great video! It's very clear in picture quality and the annotations are a great help in trying to understand what's going on, although not having some of the modules makes it a little more difficult :-) Time to save up some money :-)
Nice job, John! Cool trick. The distance and lighting are perfect, making this easy to watch and see what's going on. I appreciated your annotations too!
John liked tweaking ;-)

Thanks for the Sub. John. I worked in Sillicon Vally for 40 years. I almost puked when I saw the gear. But that is darn cool.
