They obviously had some form of stone softening technology which was lost, or not passed down to us. Maybe a means of softening rock into an aggregate which once again hardened into stone when shaped and left to dry which we are now unaware of.

The people who are alleged to have built the city and cut the stones never had the technology for this from alleged time. Those stones were shaped by a technology not yet understood, but i agree with the guy commenting on the video, the incas or whoever RE-BUILT the city after it was destroyed, as you can see from the vastly smaller, cruder, and inferior stones from some higher building stages.
